Best texture
The texture 9these patches is the best for multiple cleaning purposes. They are versatile and hold cleaning oil well. They are also fairly durable for scrubbing (best to fold them double). As lint free as a patch can get.

Use these on all my firearms. No residue or lint left behind. Nice patches. GOOD product.

Very effective at eliminating carbon from shotgun barrels
The size of this cleaning patch is nice and large. I couldn't find one this large at the big box stores so it was nice to find this for cleaning my 12 gauge shotgun. The patch can be cut to your preference and I cut mine in half to wrap around my brass brush. Dabbed it separately with Hoppes 9 and Hoppes regular cleaner and carbon kept on coming off the inside barrel. I had neglected my pump shotgun for a while thinking pumps could function without much cleaning. They can but they start to malfunction if carbon buildup gets too bad. In my case, the brass bristles along with the Hoppes and this cleaning patch really helped to remove a lot of carbon. The texture on the patch I find, is useful in pulling more carbon off than the smooth type. It is stiffer and not soft like the shirt patches. The harder material helps scrape stuff off, but I find the cotton type material is best for applying lubricants in the barrel. You get a good number of patches for the price. Make your barrels great again!

These patches perform extremely well. It's true their not cotton, but they're better than cotton. No shedding, very strong, holds Hopps #9 very well, and provides a great clean. I use these with a barrel "mop" instead of a bore snake. I use a hand-held paper punch to put a hole in the center and place it over the threaded end of the mop, then attach to a pull cord, and drag it through. When I do this with a cotton patch, the patch tears away. Being able to discard a used 3 cent patch is so much neater than having to clean a bore snake after it's seen the inside a well used 12 gauge barrel.

They do the job well
Best cleaning patches I have used. Right size for my 50 cal. muzzleloader. Priced right, and I won't be running out of them anytime soon!

Birchwood Casy 3" Square Gun Cleaning Patches
Excellent product! These patches work great for cleaning shotgun barrels and/or any large bore gun barrels with carbon build-up. I use #9 bore cleaning solution with these patches and they work far better than any other patches I have used in the past. I highly recommend them.

No fraying. Nice. These are thinner than average so you can use a larger patch.
