Not nearly as well made as the Atlas
I bought this based on all the good reviews and after asking questions and getting positive answers here. These are initial impressions after a few hours using it and compared to an older Atlas (pre Wellness). EDIT: shortly after I wrote this review, I tried the machine again to see if I could get it to roll out a thin sheet and the gears started grinding - so this thing is just not built well at all - this is definitely going back. (End Edit)Compared to the Atlas, this is lighter in weight, thinner metal. The threads on the clamp are poorly made and rough - it made it very difficult to turn the tightening screw - I lubed the screw threads with some grease and then I was able to tighten and loosen the clamp. Even clamped tightly down, the machine rocks back and forth when you crank. To be fair, the Atlas rocks a bit too - but this rocks much worse and doesn't clamp down nearly as securely as the Atlas (I think because the metal is too thin). The rollers are not parallel to each other. If you roll some dough down one side it is thicker than if you roll the same piece of dough down the other side. If you try to run a sheet thru that is wide, it will curl to the thick side and makes it very difficult to get a flat and straight sheet. I had to keep turning the sheet over so the thinner side of the sheet was on the side where the rollers were further apart to try and balance it out. I did not have this issue at all with the older Atlas (I have not tried a newer "Wellness" version of the Atlas).I expect I will be returning this - the cost savings was nice and it does work "sort of" - but it doesn't feel like it will last and just doesn't work nearly as well as the Atlas.

Used food item
Product arrived in original packaging (although looked suspect). Upon opening, found multiple finger & water prints. Someone had definitely used this before and cleaned it with water (which you should NEVER do). You'll see in the second photo.... Pasta stuck to the roller gear. Shameful to return a used FOOD product and try to resell it.

Only used 4-5 times before it broke, tried to fix it with no luck.
When it worked it worked ok. After a few uses, the gears seemed to grind and sometime jump cogs. It got to the point where I might as well just roll past out with a rolling pin. I'm mechanically minded so I opened it up to see if I could fix it. The gears had come out of their proper alignment. I made some adjustments and it worked again for a single sheet of pasta then went back to nonworking condition. It got thrown away. Also I never could get the spaghetti attachment to work.If you've never made homemade pasta, it is one of the best things in life I just wouldn't recommend this pasta roller.

It is great for Italian cookies too!
I got this as a gift for a friend who had directions for cookies that dates back over 100 years in her family. But they never came out quite right. Then she called and asked if I had a pasta roller. I got that for her. I got a batch of the best cookies I have ever had.

Spend a few bucks more
Cheap pasta rollor, you get what you pay for. After the first month the plastic on the metal turning handle broke off with no way to fix it. Their is no way to order just the broken parts you have to buy a whole new one. New one I'll spend a few bucks more to get a better quality one.

The handle slides out way too easily. Honestly I can't recommend this
There are a lot of issues with this. It is far too light to use, so while you are pressing the dough it just flips around on the counter top because not only is it light, it is small with a really small base platform. The handle slides out way too easily. Honestly I can't recommend this. If you are patient and have 4 arms this will probably work well, but if you are doing it alone this is really a waste of money, get a bigger better model.

Nice Quality, Easy To Use! Saves Lots Of Time Over Making By Hand!
I had never used one of these Pasta Makers up until 2 years ago. We always make homemade Pierogies a few times a year and rolling the dough out by hand is very time consuming. Our relatives had a pasta machine like this and when I saw how simple it made rolling the dough pieces out, I has purchased one. The one I purchased was decent but didn't work as good as theirs and didn't have much weight to it. When I received this one, I could tell right away it was heavier duty than the other one. This one comes with the pasta machine and attachment, turning handle, table clamp and directions. The knob on the side pulls out for adjusting the thickness of the dough rolling through. It clamps tightly onto the counter or table. The rollers spin freely and there was no sticking or tightness. You can make different types of pasta with this including spaghetti, angel hair, flat dough and more. The only downside to this machine is it cannot be immersed in water for washing. What I do is let any dough dry that may be stuck in the rollers or on the machine. Then I tip it upside down and shake the dry pieces out and then wipe it out and down good with a slightly damp cloth. It seems to clean up good by doing that and I have no issues when taking out to use the next time. Overall, this is a nice quality pasta machine by HuiJia that I would recommend.I received this product at no cost in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. No compensation for a positive review was provided. All of my reviews are based 100% off of my experience with the product and I never guarantee a positive review.

Very pleased
I ordered another brand from another source, sent it back, too many things wrong with it to list. This one is much better and was 3.00 less, who would have figured cheaper was better.Anyways, I think this brand will do the trick, so far I am well pleased with the product.
