Women's GEL-Excite 8 Running Shoe

Color is just as pictured bright and pretty-- I always buy this brand so know I have to size up I usually buy 8 1/2 running shoes but for these, I always need a size 9-- these have a very high back so you need an ankle running sock otherwise the back of your heel will be sore--I like them but have a concern about how thin the top material on the sneakers is-- You can see here when I lift my toe it is very thin- I am worried they won't last long as I tend to pronate my toes but even if I didn't it would still be a concern about the life expectancy of these sneakers It is for this reason I rated them only 3 stars the quality could be an issue

There are pros and cons to the Excite 8's. I have three pairs of Excite 7's which I loved, and decided to try out the 8's. The biggest pro is the removable insole, which the 7's did not have, it makes it so much easier to use your own inserts. The fit is definitely different between the two styles. The 7's were immediately comfortable out of the box, the 8's will need some getting used to. The 8's feel more roomy than the 7's, in both width and length and I'm a little concerned my feet might slip around if it gets wet. They also seem a little more stiff and have a higher arch support than the 7's. I don't know if these changes are good or bad yet because I have only had them a short time and don't know how these changes will effect long term wear.Edit: After walking around my house awhile, I don't think they'll work for my feet. I'll stick with the Excite 7s.

These sneakers feel so good. I fell in love with the Asics Excite6 then of course new version came in new year(disappointing). These Excite 8 are so similar to the excite 6. I am excited about wearing they feel great for my plantar fascitis. Will be buying multiples and hoarding them.

Because I wear a women’s 10 1/2, I often have difficulty finding athletic shoes. ASICS is a great company that offers my size in many of their shoes.I have wider feet with some issues like bunion and slight hammer toes on right foot and this shoe’s ample toe box provided lots of room where my foot didn’t feel squished in shoe and was comfortable. The shoe is very well padded in heel area and the entire shoe and accommodated my custom orthotic well after taking out the shoes’ thin insert.I have worn them twice for walks and am pleased with my purchase.Note: the only downside is the length of the laces is ridiculously short

So I’ve been using the Asics excite shoes for many years and they were the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had but these are different they’re a lot tighter and they run smaller than the last pair that I bought, Which were the excite gel six which were much more comfortable than these slightly disappointed.

I bought these because I needed a pair of comfortable shoes to wear everyday, without spending a fortune. These serve that purpose. They are comfortable, the color is neutral, so it goes with most outfits, and fit true to size. I wear a size 10, and have difficulty finding shoes that actually fit in women's size without having to shop in the men's section. I tried these on in a different color at a local athletic store and they fit perfectly, but didn't like the color. Decided to search online and saw there were more colors available in my size and were also cheaper ($60 on Amazon compared to $75 at the local store) Even though they are comfortable and this is considered a running shoe, I would not recommend them for running. I have not attempted to run in these, but don't feel they have enough cushion support that runners require.

I got these to work in, was looking for some that was affordable with good reviews & comfortable, At first I thought they was going to be a lil snug, but I wore them around the house some each day or if I went out, and it didn't take long to adjust, I don't have wide feet but not super slim either and they fit just right! I wear a size 11 in women's and they are perfect, not too short or long..I walk a-lot at work on concrete floors for 10 hr shifts, and been wearing these for about a week to work and so far they are very comfortable and my feet have not been hurting, I always have good luck with asics shoes so comfortable and last as expected for what they're used for, after a couple of months I usually put different insoles in shoes to help them last more months..these are breathable and light weight, I really needed that on my feet. I would recommend these to anyone!!

I love these shoes. Fits me perfectly.Size 8 1/2. The dark navy is beautiful with the gold accents. This is my third pair I’ve bought this month. So many colors to choose from. They are so comfortable.

These fir perfectly and are so comfy and supportive - if only they could make me run faster! I would highly recommend these trainers

I love ASIC shoes. I have been wearing them for much longer than 10 years. They fit me well and have great cushioning and support for walking. I buy a new pair each year and always keep the last two pairs; one for yard work and one for wearing in boat. The removable insoles are a plus for me and these shoes can even be (occasionally) washed in the washer and dried outside on the clothes line if they get really soiled in the garden or full of sand from boating or the beach.

Shoes work awesome if you need to be on your feet for long periods of time (nurse)
