Pouring HOT WATER into this container for 10 min at the minimum is of the utmost importance if you want this to do its job. My son starts school at 8am and eats lunch by 12. He said it’s still really hot that it needs to cool off for a few minutes before he can eat it. He’s a freshmen in high school so this works perfectly. It won’t leak if your child doesn’t swing his lunch box. If they are careful meaning carrying their lunch box like a normal person…it should be fine. I’ve never done soup and not sure if I would. I don’t trust it for that but food…YES! I’d buy this again in a heartbeat!!!!

Does not keep warm, warmed some food up about 7am checked at 11am an it felt like I put it in the freezer for two hours

The container itself is really nice and easy to clean, but the food did not really stay hot from breakfast to lunchtime.

Dificult to open or close. Doesn't keep hot food long enough...Would return but misplaced original packaging.

This size is easy to carry, it can keep food warm. My son enjoys his lunch very much now.

I don't write reviews but decided to write one for this item as I use reviews to help me to make purchasing decisions. Firstly, I received a $20 gift card IF I gave this item 5 stars. The only reason why this item is getting 1 star is because the containers are cute....but that's about it. It does NOT keep your food hot for an extended period. Secondly, because it is metal, it cannot be used in the microwave. I am disappointed with my purchase. Hope this helps.
