NECA DC Comics 61435 Batman Returns Catwoman Michelle Pfeiffer Figure, 1/4 Scale

What to say about this? This is my all time favorite depiction of the character. AMAZING figure. The face is PERFECT, capturing the rage of Selina Kyle right in her most tragic moments (also comes with a regular head with a neutral expression). The joints are strong. The paint apps look good (shiny!). 18 inches tall, for real. I love that they used actual strings around the figure to show that her costume is coming apart at this point in the movie. Nice touch: the corset is not molded on to the figure, but is a separate floating piece (not removable). Comes with extra heads and hands too.Finally, the whip was advertised as a "bendy whip" and looks bad in the promo photo, just a wire with cloth stretched over it; HOWEVER, the one I got is AMAZING! It appears to be some sort of braided material (not just a molded texture, actually braided) and has a simulated cracker (that little string) on the end. It does have a wire in it and is totally poseable for a wide range of expressive positions. WOW!Quibbles:I wish they had waved her hair. He hair is curly in the movie.The proportions are idealized for a super hero and don't reflect the actor's actual head-to-body ratio, but I can understand that a totally accurate representation might have looked odd in a figure of this stature.Needs a doll stand to stand up unless you finesse it just right (she is heavy), but I don't care when the figure is so accurate and dynamic. It's not that it can't stand up; it's more just to reduce the danger or it falling over.
