Q: Do they work on Monster Energy cans?

This product doesn't work well on any cans. It's not tight enough. And, the popup cap doesn't help. It allows additional leakage. I assume that having these caps is better than not having them. But, I don't even bother using them anymore. I do no use monster engery drinks so I don;t know if these things fit.

Q: Will they fit 12oz cans of pepsi? It says size is 1 1/2 in. but pepsi cans are only 2 in across

Have not tried them on Pepsi, but have had problems getting them on Coke cans. Had to press so hard to get it on that the can collapsed, spilling Coke on the counter.

Q: can you use these to preserve beer?

I don't drink beer, so I would not know if they fit. They fit a regular soda can like Coke, or Pepsi, etc. If a beer can is the same size then it would be just the same as with beer.

Q: Are they easy to get off and on? The ones I have now, I usually end up smashing the can trying to get them on.

Yes, they are. There is a small lip on the edge of each one that you can use to pull it off the can. I do have strong hands but I don't need much to release the lids. I have run into only one kind of soda that seems to be ever so slightly wider than the usual soda cans. That can take a little extra effort to get on and a little to get off, but that extra tightness enables me to use that same can of soda over 2 days and keeps in the fizz that long. Otherwise, the fizz of the regular soda only lasts about half a day or so.
