The music is great. Its 2 CDS. The case was broken...but I'm sure I can overcome that.

Timeless memories
I ordered and received this collection of Joe Cocker's music and am already wearing it out listening to these old timeless tunes of the 60's. His music never gets old and sounds even better today thanks to digital remastering. My old 33 albums had become so scratched over the past 50 or 60 years so it was time to invest in a compilation of his music. If you love Joe Cocker's gravely voice and the songs he did so well, don't miss out on this CD. It has all of his best songs and a few I didn't even know he had done. His music sure makes me feel "young again". I remember "rockin' out" blasting my ear drums as loud as my old quadreflex speakers would go. Today, I don't listen to my music quite as loud, but I do have my moment when a favorite, "A little help from my friends" and "All I Know it Feels like Forever" start to play I'm up and cranking the volume loud enough to wake the neighbors. Great tunes, great memories, timeless music. Don't think about it - just get this CD, you won't be disappointed.

Wide selection spans career.
Great stuff from Joe Cocker, but after awhile you can get "Joe Cockered" out. The 2 disc import (as opposed to the one disc U.S. release) givesyou a wide range of Joe Cocker songs that span his whole career. You may not like all of the songs, but there is enough here to keep your toes tapping. Besides, you can always skip over the songs that you don't like ! One song that they failed to include was one of my favorites "Blackbird",so I'll have to downgrade one star. But overall, a nice collection.

Ticks all the boxes
Joe Cocker was blessed with one of those instantly recognisable voices that there's no mistaking who's singing. A chequered career blighted by many personal low points as Cocker unfortunately succumbed to the ravages of drink and drugs meant he didn't truly get the success he deserved - this 2CD compilation redresses some of that and shows what a gifted interpreter of other's work he was. There are plenty of Joe Cocker compilations out there, many featuring live versions of his biggest hits (such as With A Little Help From My Friends) but this one for me ticked all the boxes. Here you'll find all those hits and more - his sublime completely out of left field reinterpretation of With A Little Help From My Friends which is surely the definite version, the wonderful Delta Lady, the simply terrific Unchain My Heart, the tender You Are So Beautiful, and his only U.S. No.1 Up Where We Belong. There's plenty more to enjoy aside from those big hits however, with interpretations of Elton John and Bernie Taupin's Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me and Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word, Leonard Cohen's First We Take Manhattan, Randy Newman's You Can Leave Your Hat On, Bob Marley's Could You Be Loved, Jimmy Cliff's Many Rivers To Cross songs familiar to many all given Joe's own unique spin. That Cocker puts his heart into everything he sings is clear throughout as the listener becomes accustomed to the less familiar tracks which are high standard - whilst Cocker didn't write his own material he knew how to pick songs to add his own interpretation. A solid compilation, and an excellent jumping off point for anyone looking to discover more about one of the great white soul voices.

Every hit you would ever want to hear from Joe
Joe Cocker has a unique and timeless rock voice that I have loved for 35 years. This compilation covers all of his best songs and the recording quality is very good. Having heard a couple of 'budget' CD's in the past it was refreshing to be able to listen to my favourite Joe Cocker tracks in reasonably high quality.
