What an ending!
I was terribly worried that this extension to Larsson's work would prove to be a car crash. Lisbeth Salander is one of my favourite heroines and although Lagercrantz does handle her character with kid gloves, and rarely strays outside of established parameters, the plots are nice developed with plenty of tension.I don't want to give the impression that this (and its two prequels) are better than the originals, but they were very enjoyable and left me feeling quite happy at the end.

An interesting tale for Lisbeth Salande
another great/interesting tale for the character of Lisbeth Salander and the characters from The Girl with the dragon tattoo. This book has a great tale involving M. Blomkvist, and Lisbeth Salander, it involves an incident from the past and how it haunts/bothers a person in the present. The murder of a homeless man and how it intangles Blomkvisrt and Salandar, and how they try and resolve it, while also avoiding characters from their past. Overall the book was not bad, I do not regret getting it, I was hooked by the 1st book in the series-The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I would read that book 1st and if it grips you like it did me then you will enjoy the other books in that trilogy and the trilogy that follow from a different author. It may not be as gripping as the 1st book, but try it and see.
