Q: We have an iron handle, that is welded on and can’t be removed. Can we we use this handle?

This slides over a 1/2 Rod if your rod is 1/2 it will work or you may have to modify it to work

Q: Will this fit 13/16" pipe?

Honestly, think that it might be a bit to tight to slide or push on being that your measurements say 13/16”, says for 1/2 “, With that being said I used it on my AVALON woodstove, & believe it is approximately a 1/2” give or take 13/16” just seems a bit too large. If you look further on Amazon you might find something with a little larger opening well you could always buy it and return it if you really want to give it a try

Q: Does it have to have a rod going all the way through it? Mine doesnt have a rod, just a 1/5" long nipple on each side. Will it pop off due to flexing?

Does not have a rod going through the center. Used for a pizza oven handle. Has not popped off.
