Great guitar. Poorly stored
The guitar sounds amazing. Prestige truly makes solid instruments that punch above their price. That said, it's just not worth it to buy an Acoustic guitar from Amazon. This one was shipped to them in early March of 2019 and arrived to me with a center seam separation in late February of 2023.I personally could care less that it's an older guitar, but the fact that it has a center seam separation and Amazon would not compensate me to go to a luthier and get it fixed is a major issue.TL:DR.... Prestige 5 stars. Amazon 1 star.

Nice looking guitar but the sound, fit, and finish just don't measure up to the price
This is a nice looking guitar with lots of "bling" but the sound, fit, and finish just don't measure up to the price. The sound is neither full nor rich; it's kind of plain-sounding guitar on par with the $500 guitars you might find at your average guitar center. I've played new, $300 Yamaha guitars that sounded better and $1,000 Eastman guitars that sound a LOT better. For this kind of money a nice Takamine or lower-end Taylor or Martin would be a better investment.

Incredible Tone, Features, and Value
I'm not sure what the negative reviewer was playing. It certainly doesn't sound like the guitar I bought (the spruce/rosewood w/the fisher eclipse).I've tried and listened to a lot of guitars of similar ilk (Gibson, Eastman, Epiphone Masterbilt, Ibanez, etc.) - some of which I bought and rejected/resold. That includes a handful of "$500" guitars that people raved about, that sounded good in clips, but just didn't do it for me. The Prestige Eclipse I got, to me, is only bested by one guitar I played and that was the Taylor 912ce V-Class Grand Concert Acoustic-Electric, a $5k guitar (and for the sound - both chords and single-note runs - worth it, if you have that kind of $$$). But the difference was very slight. If I was to characterize it I'd say the chordal response of the Eclipse is ever so slightly less warm. Still has amazing sound whether playing chords or arpeggios. For the price I've not found anything that can touch it. A friend's Eastman was close, but to my ear and touch not as good as the Taylor or the Eclipse (similar price point to the Eclipse, though). Fell in love with a Gibson when playing chords but the single-note response on it was meh and for $3.5k I put it back on the hook.Maybe if I win the lottery I'll get the Taylor too (or maybe someone will go nuts and I'll land one cheap...ha!). But as far as I'm concerned acoustic guitar "tone-quest" is over for me.BTW, my experiences with Prestige customer service have always been positive, too. When I bought the Eclipse it arrived with an internal strut that had come unglued in shipping and Prestige paid to have it reinstalled by a top-notch luthier. Slight delay to get the guitar in-hand in top-notch condition but no cost to me.My hearing and hands aren't yours, so I encourage getting one in hand to try it out first, or buying from a place with a great return policy. Listen to it while it's in your hands; hear it reflected back to you off a good acoustic surface; hook it up to an acoustic amp and get a feel for the range and quality of the Fishman. For 2/5 the cost of the Taylor I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Love the rich sound
I have this Prestige guitar. It is the finest guitar I have ever played. It almost plays itself. What a rich & gorgeous sound this instrument has. One strum and the air is filled with resonate beauty. I bought my at a music store in Houlton Maine. I just love this guitar.

Great guitars that most people have never heard of
A very nice guitar and very versatile-- the deeper than typical body depth for an Auditorium-size guitar makes it suitable for strumming and flat-picking, as well as finger-picking, and results in good volume for a medium-sized guitar. Prestige Guitars is a Canadian company mostly known for their electric guitars. I had never heard of them before coming across these Eclipse acoustics. There is very good attention to detail in the design and build of these guitars.I also like the Fishman Matrix Ellipse Blend Pickup System which is concealed just above the sound hole and is better than having a preamp mounted in an opening cut into the side of the guitar. The blend of an under-saddle pickup and a microphone results in nice natural acoustic sound.Specifications:Auditorium Cutaway BodySolid Spruce TopSolid Rosewood Back and SidesBeveled Venetian Cutaway, with Padauk inlayD-Shaped Satin Mahogany Neck20 Fret Ebony Fingerboard w/ Mother of Pearl InlayMother of Pearl Headstock LogoEbony Front Headstock with Maple BindingEbony Bridge, Ebony Bridge Pins w/Abalone dotsBone NutCompensated Bone Saddle12" Fingerboard RadiusX bracing pattern developed by Master Luthier Balaz ProhaszkaAdirondack Spruce BracingGotoh 510 (21:1 Ratio) Machine Heads w/ Ebony TunersScale Length: 25.35"Lower Bout: 15.38"Upper Bout: 11.25"Waist: 9.25"Depth at Heel: 4.75"Depth at Neck: 4"Nut Width: 1.75"Neck Radius: 12"Optional: Fishman Matrix Ellipse Blend Pickup System
