ShubbGC-30 Deluxe Acoustic Guitar Capo, Stainless Steel

I do a ton of research before buying anything. I recently bought a higher end guitar (Martin HD-28) and wanted to upgrade all the supporting pieces, including the capo. I have been using Kyser spring capo for years and had some issues with it keeping the guitar in tune while on and right after taking off. This Shubb has fixed that entirely. I head the spring capos arent as friendly in the long term on the neck and frets, Schubb fixes that as you control the tension. I could not recommend this capo more and it look gorgeous as well. Also, when trying to play certain chords with the Kyser (think B7 type) if was very difficult with it's design, the top level would get in the way of my hands and I would have to move my hand in an unnatural way to compensate and play the chord, Schubbs low profile also completely fixes this. No brainer!

works effectively & easy to fit

My first capo and I wasn't sure what to buy. Searched for which capo Billy Strings uses. He used to use a Schubb capo before switching to another brand that literally costs 20 times as much as this one. I figured if it used to be good enough for him, it was good enough for me. Easy to put on and I had no string buzzing or tuning issues. That seems to be the main goal, so 2 thumbs up. Stainless steel so it won't corrode.P.S. This is made in China, not USA as some other website claimed. Maybe it used to be at the time the other article was written.

Shubb capos are light and compact. Most other brands are bigger. Yes, the Shubb requires two hands to apply, but the compact size and adjustable tension more than make up for that.
