The hoop might be an acceptable size when it's at its lowest, but once you get it to a taller height the hoop is so small that it makes shooting a basket - esp. for a child, and esp. with those extremely bouncy balls - nearly impossible. Significantly smaller hoop than the Little Tykes basketball hoop, which doesn't get higher off the ground than 4'.2. It would be easier to shoot a basket if the backboard weren't 10% wider than the hoop itself. If the kid doesn't have *perfect* aim, they're going to miss the whole basket every time.3. The instructions are terribly written, reference the wrong part #s multiple times, use very vague language, and provide incorrect photos. You can see the instructions above, they posted them as part of the product listing. The very first instruction tells you to use the wrong screw, for instance. They also reference using a screwdriver, but there are no traditional screws.4. The product is not "adjustable" in the sense you expect. It doesn't telescope up and down. To "adjust" it to a lower height you have to pull out a tool, loosen some bolts, remove some parts, store those parts somewhere, and re-assemble it. I have a toddler and a big kid, I was hoping to use this for both of them without a construction project every time. "Adjustable" makes it sound like something it's not.

Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this piece of crap. I have just spent two hours trying to get this thing together. Not only are the instructions are incorrect and poorly written, but this is so poorly made that I can’t get it together. I literally can’t get past the first step. The screws won’t screw (too many burrs left in the receiving end) the pole has literally come apart with the piece responsible for holding the hoop upright breaking. The plastic ends to make it “easy to assemble” have also broken. Even if they weren’t broken, It would be impossible to assemble correctly.Made in China garbage. I would put negative stars if I could.

There are vague picture instructions on the box which actually don’t actually show all the pieces you are supposed to use. Almost couldn’t assemble it at all because one of the screws to secure the backboard had the threading completely messed up. Luckily I had a random long nut and bolt that fit. Also the threading on one of the poles was filled or something so we couldn’t get the screw in to tighten it in place. Had to basically drill out the metal hole a bit to get it to work. Would have just sent it back if my daughter hadn’t have already seen it and was desperate to play with it. Not a quality product unfortunately. Too many defects!

I like playing basketball. My son likes playing basketball as much as I do. I bought this basketball set for my 6-year-old son, and he likes it very much. This set has two balls that he can play with his sister. At first, I was worried about the instability of the chassis. I asked the seller about this matter and suggested that I add water and sand. I found the sand and added water to try it. It was very stable and no longer worried that it would fall. The ball is also soft and won't hurt the child. It's worth recommending!
