I wish I had read the fine print about the mirror function. I bought this because it had Android auto in it, but the mirror function is only supported from Android 10.1 and down. So for most modern phones it's already obsolete, or if u upgrade the OS in your phone beyond 10.1 and most will for security purposes. Does not work with my Samsung Galaxy Note Ultra 20. I found the Android Auto a little draggy, and it is reasonably unpredictable with whether it's going to launch or not. The OS in the radio is a little slow moving too at times. The touchscreen works well enough. People have said that they have trouble hearing me on the microphone that's built into the thing when I'm using the speakerphone. Overall, t's okay. Def not a 4 or a 5 star radio, and definitely not great. Installation was reasonably easy and straightforward. Off axis viewing can be a little difficult. Also, the USB port is not a quick charge port, and your phone will still discharge when it's plugged in to the Android auto USB port. Really irritating.Update 8/22/21I kept the radio about 3 weeks and really did try to like it but it was just too annoying. Android auto ran my phone down, you couldn't play radio and use Android auto at the same time, the mirror function worked only with older phones, off axis viewing wasnt great.... Wasn't worth it. Returned. Opted for the Atoto F7 which had all the features I wanted, and it's amazing, for about the same price.

Decided to buy this double din for my 3rd gen 4Runner after seeing the review from another fellow 4Runner owner, it was a pretty big upgrade to modernizing the interior on my 97’ Toyota. All the features work great except this unit doesn’t support mirror imaging on my iPhone 11 since it’s too new of a phone, this is unfortunate but not the biggest deal otherwise I would have bought another unit. I mainly bought this unit to have access to Apple CarPlay, and it works well with my iPhone 11 so far. Wiring was easy using the diagram included and I googled my vehicle stereo diagram to make sure I was matching the wires up correctly. The sound quality isn’t the best as expected but it does produce a lot more bass than the pioneer unit I previously had installed. I have a sub installed and I had to turn the bass down quite a bit after installing this stereo. The navigation is a little laggy when you’re trying to browse the map using the head unit but when you’re following directions to somewhere it doesn’t seem laggy at all. I believe This could be an issue on my gps antenna though. The fit was good besides having to modify the mounting brackets a little bit by adding washers behind a long screw to make the unit fit flush with the dash. The backup camera was the hardest thing to install out of everything, but it’s an awesome feature to have since I have blacked out windows it’s hard to see when backing up at night but the back up camera helps A LOT.This is a nice unit if you want to have navigation and Apple CarPlay or Bluetooth but if you’re looking for anything else I’d consider buying a better unit.

I installed the radio in our 2002 motorhome and connected it to the existing sound system. The main thing we wanted was a good sounding GPS and visual screen for traveling. I have a Apple 8 plus phone the car play worked very good. It took me a little work to figure out how to get it to work correctly the directions are very basic.We have about 60 hours of run time on it and its working very well.

Install went smoothly and instructions were clear. I am a little disappointed that the CarPlay doesn't interface nicely when listening to FM radio. I have to use media from my iPhone or not display the map in CarPlay. I rent cars and this is possible but I also know this is an aftermarket inexpensive radio. The one thing that s driving me crazy is the poor quality of the internal mic and the lack of a port for an external mic. What the hell guys!!! This is the 21st century. I am considering sending this back even after investing my time to install it. It really doesn't fit my needs. I asked a question about the external mic and it has yet to be answered. If I do not get an answer soon I may just send it back.
