This pair of metal musicians look good but looking closer you realise the finishing needs to be better on them.My pair had sharp edges around the holder and the saxophone players sax didn’t reach head so was sharp pointed screw that should have had point removed if meant to be so far from head.My daughter will use these on shelf as display piece rather than functional item to hold pens as think risk of cuts if handling daily.Look good but finishing needs to be better

When you see pictures of these two holders they look fantastic, imaginative and appealing, however, when I got mine I was a bit alarmed by the extremely sharp pieces of metal and unfinished edges.Before I talk about the quality of build, just a few words on the imaginative designs and material used to make these holders, they have used nuts, screws, paperclips amongst other such items to fashion and weld together everything, so this part of it was superb.But all let done by the quality of finish, the manufacturers clearly have no quality control, otherwise these sharp part's and edges would have been dealt with. The two containers to hold your pens and pencils are very badly finished off as well, if you run your fingers along the edges you can feel the sharpness, I would not recommend you allow your children's to have these holders, as they are dangerous.I was very disappointed with these two holder, they look nice with great aesthetics, but the finishing is very very poor, so I can only give these three stars, I believe I am being generous, as I was going to give them two stars, by the way, be careful if you put them on a wooden surface or any surface which can be scratched, as the bases are sharp, great idea let down by the finish.

Two pieces of pen holder are made of metal and have shiny finish. The design is special. One is saxophone one is French horn. They both look stylish and sturdy. You can put a couple of pens or pencils or other stationery inside but not too many stuff. I would rather think they are more ornaments than organizers. The price is ok.

Two little figurines each have their own platform. One is playing a saxophone, and the other is rocking a French horn. They busk happily on your desktop, and instead of loose change all they expect are your accessories in their metal barrels.These are two very arty and well-constructed devices. The musicians look like they have been assembled from spare engine parts. The barrels do not hold very much, but I like this as it has made me more selective about what I keep on my desk. They replace two large mugs that were mostly filled with things I never used.A shiny, musical way to streamline my work area.

The idea is intriguing but on closer inspection they are poor quality items.Sharp, bent and poor quality chrome finish I wouldn’t want to risk picking up a pen or pencil from out of these.

My sexond purchase. This time as a gift. I really love it.
