Everyday Graces: Child's Book Of Good Manners

Lovely book on character qualities
Excerpts from many sources - chapter books, poetry - that teach solid character qualities, respect for others, manners, kindness, etc. using good literature as the foundation for good behavior. A useful "how-to" book on teaching children the many aspects of growing up well in order to be a delightful polite contribution to society. It also encourages further reading as the literary excerpts chosen are so interesting, you are enticed to read the entire book from which it came.

Great stories for all kids
Love adding this to our morning read aloud. The mixture of poetry and classic literature is captivating and short enough to maintain the attention of even our youngest homeschooler (3 year old).
