Still not sure about the cd mount but am absolutely loving the vent clip. It is so sturdy, well made and easy to install and use!!! Great addition to making my drives more enjoyable!

This was better than all the rest I’ve bought

product does its function well. well made but needs to be tighten once in a while.

Unfortunately due to the shape of the CD slot in my car (04 Acura TSX) the mount does sometimes slip out of place and fall while driving, or detaching phone from mount due to having to reach behind mount to depress button to release the phone, mount seems to be designed for "flat faced" cd slot quick easy solution was a dab of super glue on the fins of the cd mount not so much that it cant be removed in the future but enough to hold the mount in place !Mount is made of great quality materials swivel mount doesn't loosen itself which is great since I'm lowered on coil overs and calls for a slight rougher ride over stock. So all in all, i'd recommend this mount since price was within my budget and sure does its job well

Does not hold much into the cd slot. You need to push it back most of the time.

This works. Two ways to attach. CD player slot or air vent. I like the CD player attachment. One caveat for me. The bolt you turn with fingers to tighten it in CD slot is way longer than it needs to be and was obscuring more of my screen and back camera view than need be. I shortened it with my Dremel on both the threaded end and shortened the finger tightened wings. No reason for this bolt to be so long. A hacksaw would work fine to shorten also. If your CD player is right above your screen, you may also want to shorten that bolt. Otherwise, love this. The air vent way to attach worked well also and if I could not have easily shortened the bolt for CD player method, would have been happy to use that instead. Well made materials. Holder itself is nicely designed.

We've tried several of these things and over the years have had lousy luck. The state of Mass elected to ban mobile phone use in cars without one of these so we were forced to install something. This is my wife's unit but I use her car frequently too and it works for both of us. We had to use the clip that attaches to the heat vent. It has pulled off once in the three or four months since installation. But it didn't break anything. So far so good, and it is sturdy and can be used without distraction.

Works quite well can't beat it for the money

It's steady when inserting but the ball in the back that twists and turns the phone to any angle u want wears off and just falls down if your phone is too heavy with case. Especially if it's an Otterbox case. It's only good if you have a thin case or no case at all. I still use mine but I will replace and buy something else when it gives out. Maybe it's only good for a few months then replace

As mentioned. I do not use a case. I could imagine if you had a bulky thick case the feet on the bottom may not be long enough to hold your phone from the bottom. Width wise its more than capable of handling a Samsung ultra 22.All ratings are for cd adapter. (not for vent adapter)

The attachment for the CD didn't work on my vehicle because it interfered with my dash. But the air vent attachment is working very well. Hopefully it lasts for a long time, so far it's been a few weeks and no issues

This is a good quality holder. Did not give it a 5 star as the phone sits to far down in the holder and makes it almost impossible to use the rear fingerprint sensor.

Next time, i'll invest more in my car phone holder. Classic case of you get what you paid for.
