Excellent Tea!
This tea is excellent! Where I usually buy my tea, a local store, is no longer carrying Thai Tea. She had the best, I thought! This tea tastes just like hers only WAY less expensive! This tea has an excellent rich taste, good vanilla notes and you really don’t need to add sugar, a very pleasant slightly sweet taste. I drink this as a hot tea, but it will make an excellent iced Thai tea, just like you get in the restaurants. This is a large amount of tea and will last you a long time. I put it in a tea bag, 1 full teaspoon to 1 2/3 of hot water and steeped for 5 minutes......absolute perfection!

We LOVE this thai tea
We LOVE this thai tea. We honestly like it better than what we've had at restaurants. We make it on a regular basis now, and we plan on being long term returning customers, because we love this tea so much. The recipe on the package is really helpful, but we cut the sugar in half. It's a bit too sweet if you do the amount it suggests, but half the amount is perfect. We suggest this thai tea over the "Amazon's Choice," even though that one has more orders. This one is black tea, versus the other one, which is green tea. We like the taste (and the caffeine content) of black tea much more than green tea. One thing to be careful with (on all thai teas) is how easily it stains. Just wipe up any spills quickly, and you should be fine. It's worth it because of the delicious taste of this thai tea!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. :-)

Thai Tea Review
The packaging is very sealed, the only problem I did have is that it does stain your hands and anything near it. I recommend using a metal spoon and to wash your hands very well after making the tea. Over all I loved it! Great taste one of the best I have tried. I recommend putting evaporated milk instead of half and half for a sweeter taste.

My recipe
This taste just like a restaurant. Here is how we do it: add 3/4 c of tea to 64 oz of water. Bring to a boil then turn off heat. Let sit about 20 min. Strain the tea. Add 3/4 c (more or less according to taste) of sugar while warm and mix well. Let cool. Place in fridge. Fill a pint glass 3/4 with the tea and add about 1/8 c evaporated milk (a splash of milk is fine too), stir. Add ice. This tea is a really nice treat and much cheaper to make at home!

Delicious and far cheaper to make at home than in a restaurant
I love iced tea and Thai iced tea in particular. I like being able to adjust the sweetness to my own taste and also to make a small pitcher to last a couple of days. It is very orange though, so do not wear your best white shirt when preparing this tea.

Delicious
Tastes great. If you close your eye tight enough you'll think you're in Thailand...or somewhere else that makes good thai iced tea...like your house after you buy this. (Note: I do not condone walking around your house with your eyes closed and thai iced tea in hand. Especially if you have a white couch....which I won't even get into why you bought a white couch to begin with, you probably have white pants too right? Anyway, you're like to trip or stub your toe and swear while spilling the iced tea and then you'll have a hard-to-explain orange stain all over your white couch or pants.)

this is the right one!
This is so thoroughly much better than other brands of Thai tea I’ve bought! No bitterness, even without milk. As other reviewers mentioned, mine came with artificial vanilla on the ingredients list rather than natural, but the flavor is still perfect.

Delicious and great price. See review for recipe
Love this tea! There are no restaurants near me where I can grab a Thai iced tea, and I was really in the mood for one so I ordered this from Amazon. I found a great recipe which worked out perfectly: 16 ounces boiling water, 2 T tea. Strain after 5 minutes. Mix 4 tsp sweetened condensed milk with 4 tsp sugar and 4 tsp evaporated milk. I used the low-fat (1%) evaporated milk. Pour strained hot tea over 2 large cups filled with ice, and divide the milk mixture between the 2 of them. Delicious! I put the remaining condensed and evaporated milk in air tight containers in the fridge.
