I had previously purchased a cheaper version of shaving brush that was advertised as being Badger bristle. However after only a few shaves the bristles began separating from the handle getting all over my face.I noticed an immediate difference in quality with the Parker Safety Razor Handmade Deluxe Mug Shaving Brush. It is much denser, which should indicate that it's not going to come apart like the other make did. So far it is working fine.

I love this brush! It is very full and wonderfully soft. It works up a great lather which produces a much smoother and closer shave. I use it with a generous squirt of "Edge" shaving cream, in a mug, and then use the wet brush to whip it up. I have been wet shaving for 60 years and this is the best brush I have ever used. I just wish that the space between the brush holder and the base of the stand was a little larger. The brush tips touch the base when the stand is used as shown.

I have been waiting for the silver tip brush to come down in price .this one is ver soft. When yo first get it it needs to be cleaned a bit. when I rinsed it in water, the water turned slightly dirty. I put some shaving soap on it then rinsed it out and after that it was clean
