I have had this coffee on my subscribe and save for years. I order two bags a month. Recently multiple bags have been delivered open and spilling all over the boxes. It’s a non-returnable, non-refundable item. I believe it’s the manufacturer’s issue because usually the bags are open where they should be sealed at the top or bottom. It’s really too bad because I love this cold brew. I’m probably going to cancel my subscription because I can’t be paying for bags of coffee that are open.

I use a French Press to make my coffee and lately I've been bouncing around looking for something that is of quality and price. I guess I could use regular ground and deal with the press and once even wound up with a can of coffee from a store that was delivered to me by mistake and was told to keep it. That was an espresso ground that is so fine don't even bother with a press.So my package was delivered today and even if I wanted to take off a point for it not being in a resealable package I would still give it 5 stars. I use 1/4 cup to a 20 oz. measure of water. My Amazon Basics electric kettle brings the water to a boil, but doesn't keep boiling the water. Within 5 minutes of being in the press this aroma just permeates my house and made me want to pour right away, but I usually give my coffee 10 minutes in the press.The real test of coffee to me is taste it black and this didn't disappoint. Not a killer dark roast that will knock you on your butt, but enough strength with still being smooth.I have an air tight container that holds the coffee and will probably try out the cold brew recipe at some point as well.I don't review everything I purchase from Amazon. It has to either impress me or disappoint me.

It's a good deal for ground coffee that makes nice, smooth cold brew. Unfortunately, poor Amazon shipping has twice led to a broken bag of coffee. I open the Amazon shipping bag, and it's filled with loose ground coffee. It's not a returnable item, and Amazon's automated response is frustrating.

As someone who needs his brew every morning to start the day, having a consistent and flavorful choice over the brick & mortar $6 cup of cold brew is my ultimate goal.Over the past 2 years I have purchased this product over 55 times! So felt at this point I could give a fair review.To start the freshness is hit or miss.Sometimes the bag comes fully sealed and fresh, other times it has been so badly handled through the fulfillment center that I end up getting an amazon bag full of loose grounds. So if you are a stickler on freshness, you have been warned.Quality, this could also fall under the last freshness one, but anywho, with all my purchases of this product, the actual quality of the coarse coffee grounds seems adequate. One time I felt the coffee grounds were not the right ones labeled on the bag. I get dark roast, this batch tasted like some vanilla coffee.Availability, this is where you need to pay attention. As someone who likes his cold brew every morning, I try and have a bag ordered before I run out, with this brand that is starting to be a problem.Over the past 5 moths, clearly not pandemic related, the coffee is more often out of stock than in.So if you are like me looking for all the things I listed above, this may not be the brand for you.I am currently looking for another brand that can keep their product in stock so I can enjoy it all the time. This product has become more hit or miss on if and when it will be available.

I bought this in the dark roast and was NOT disappointed! Fantastic bold flavor and so easy to make.
