Suicide Squad: Behind the Scenes with the Worst Heroes Ever
Suicide Squad takes the DC film universe in a new and different direction by focusing on the bad guys and their stories. I have mixed feelings about the film, but overall enjoyed the experience. This companion book, "Behind the Scenes with the Worst Heroes Ever", is absolutely wonderful. It's a hybrid of a making-of journal and an art book. There's a ton of information about the movie, the cast of characters, and the filmmaking process; and it's supplemented with a bunch of imagery (including a healthy dose of concept art and set photos).Characters are front and center in the book. The text discusses the importance of each role, casting the part, and the actor's process in finding the character. The most interesting aspect is seeing the various design concepts and costume sketches - it's fascinating to see how the look of the characters (Harley Quinn and the Joker in particular) evolved over time and eventually got to their finished form. The book devotes a fair number of pages to all members of the Squad, including the more secondary characters such as Slipknot and Captain Boomerang. My favorite portion of the book is the section "All Inked Up", which discusses the importance of the tattoos to the characters and shows in high detail the tattoos that appear on the Joker, Harley, and Diablo. The book also provides a closer look at the weapons of the film; whether a gun, a bat, or a boomerang, it's detailed in this book.Much like the Dark Knight Manual, this book is made even more interesting by the inclusion of various artifacts inserted throughout the book (some can be removed). The full list of inserts is below.List of Inserts- Waller's confidential files on the Squad members- Zoe's letter to Deadshot (removable)- Belle Reve Poster 12x14"- Diablo's Pressure Chamber blueprints (removable)- CIA Report on the June Moore incident in Peru- Joker tattoos (removable)- Joker playing card (removable)- Dr. Quinzel's Arkham Staff ID

Great Book
This is an excellent companion for those interested in the production of the film. It's full of set photos, behind the scenes perspectives and anecdotes, and detailed levels of information regarding its design. There's also extensive bios of the fascinating characters, including Wallers own Intel and classified files that add to the lore and experience of this great film. Great souvenir and gift for someone who loves the film!

Loads of extras ,little price
If I could give it more than five stars I would. Like the movie? You must own this book. Beautiful colored pictures, design art and character concept art. It comes with so many little extras. Harleen's Arkham I.d. ,Diablo's cell schematic,Deadshoot's personal mail so much more. You also get a small criminal biographies on the squad as well as flags. However if your looking for a movie book filled with unused set designs, costume designer design, set concept ,ext. This is not the book for you this is more of a fan/ behind-the-scenes extra book. On the book itself is gorgeous but handle with care it could have used more sowing on the binding .

The book was in GREAT condition and had most of the inserts still attached
My daughter found this book at the military base library she went too. The book was in GREAT condition and had most of the inserts still attached. My daughter rented it with excitement. Unfortunately I had to RE RENT that book for about 6 additional weeks. Buying the book for $25 actually ended up saving me gas money (haha) and any late fee's if I forgot to re-rent it lol. The book ended up having MORE inserts than additionally thought. Brought some funko-pops with this and it was her favorite Christmas present. Good gift for a teen that is a fan of the movie :)

This book is awesome. I was ready for it to be like any other book based on behind the scenes of a big movie, but one cool thing that set it apart from the others was the cool props included. Within the first few pages there's the confidential files of the Squad members, there's letter's from Deadshot's daughter, & postcards of each member amongst other cool things. If you're into this stuff then you probably already own this book, but if you're hesitant, I def say check it out!

Very Cool!
This is one of coolest behind the scenes books that I have in my collection, so many great pictures of the characters from the film of Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Enchantress and the rest of the cast. Also this book included a poster of the squad, post cards and more inside the book!

AMAZING AND WORTH THE MONEY!
I was so excited to get this along with the Movie Novelization in the mail a few weeks ago. I enjoyed it and I treat it pretty much as a keepsake. The pictures and the drawings for costume ideas and character looks are amazing. Everything that is mentioned in the advertisement for this Behind the Scenes book is in here and MORE. I don't want to spill too much, but trust me...you'll love it if you loved the characters as they are portrayed in the movie. There are PLENTY of posters, post cards and other goodies in this book. I'll add a few pictures but trust me....this is only a TINY few of what is offered :)

Great for true Suicide Squad fans!
I know everybody didn't love this film, but I did! That being said, this book is great for fans who want an inside look at all the characters (even Slipknot.) I love the interviews with the cast, and the on-set photos and concept art are outstanding!

Great photos but
Great photos but the text basically outlines the characters and doesn't really go into detail about the actual shooting of the movie or deleted scenes etc. Fans will love it but it could've gone into further detail imo.

This book is amazing! It's so much fun to explore every aspect of the movie through the book. I'm in love with the removable items they bring out the soul of the movie. I don't think I can remove and use them though they're just too precious.
