Faber-Castell TK9400 2mm 2H Clutch Pencil

Light weight and sturdy, very similar experience to the wood Faber-Castell pencils.Sharpener is not included.

I have become addicted to these Farber Castell TK9400 mechanical pencils and their leads, because they are good quality and long lasting artist pencils. I no longer have to stop and sharpen every five minutes, just one second to extend the lead. I do use their lead sharpener for details using extra fine sharp points. They are also easy to retract and throw them in your pocket or bag and go, no muss, no fuss, no breakage. I have not been a regular mechanical pencil user, but I love these to death. Highly recomend!

These pencils are awesome! They're very comfortable to hold, won't tear up a case (no metal grip), and clutch the lead tightly. I've ordered a few of these at this point, they've all come with the proper lead. The marked ones (with the hardness grade on the end) are actually a little hard to find, the "H" variants even more so. I like these pencils so much, I wanted a set, and now I have a 4H, 2H, 2B, 4B and 6B with an HB on the way.I love Faber-castell's lead, always high quality, their pencils are no exception. I also love using these thicker leads, you can let them be a sharp or as dull as you want, for as long as you want. Look into the lead sharpeners, way smaller and less mess than a traditional pencil sharpener.There are cheaper options out there that would fill this same purpose, from good brands. I just like the look and feel of these ones. They also arrived a whole week or so ahead of schedule!

Compared to Staedtler's Technico and Mitsubishi's uni, the Faber-Castell 2mm lead holder is a little lighter on the weight even beyond the lack of the clip holder on this model. I like it as a stationary clutch pencil that will stay with the desk.Originally, I was rather disappointed in the model and design. However, after consistent use, I feel confident in saying that this is a welcome addition to any set of clutch pencils you might already have. While the entire chassis is simply polymer instead of the metal grip that other designs use, the result of a lightweight clutch pencil is great for its intent. The grip is plastic as well and won't feel straining to use after long periods of time unlike the metal counterparts. This is the lightest clutch pencil I've used and, to that result, it serves the purpose spectacularly.Choose this if you need a weightless clutch pencil without compromising structure or durability.

The pencil is 2h which I couldn’t notice while ordering - if not specified it should have been HB, also there is no clip for latching it in pocket - inspire of having used such pencils all my life, am surprised how I didn’t notice these two aspects
