Effective on several tender and sore areas I have. Torn my rotator cuff and this has helped ease that pain and tension in the area (along with ibuprofen on bad days). And helps my heel feel less painful and tight as well. I have plantar fasciitis on the back of one heel and some days it hurts more than others, and this cream is quick and easy to apply and helps ease that pain.Has that menthol heating/cooling effect, but not strong or over powering. I've tried similar products and the burn is just so intense that I have to wash it off - not the case with this. Very pleasant and you can apply it as often as you like. Plus I love Arnica montana and calendula, as I've had excellent results with both those ingredients, so this product has a combination of ingredients that I really enjoy with the addition of Menthol for that heating/cooling feeling in just the right dose!Reasonably priced, ($14.99 when ordered in May 2021), and a little goes a long way!

This is a typical pain lotion in that is has that strong minty smell to it and will tingle when you put it on your skin. I like the mint smell but it might be a bit much for some people. The tingling lasts for a couple of minutes and then fades. The lotion absorbs fairly quick but there’s definitely some oils in it so I’d let it dry before putting clothing back over it. Once it absorbs, it leaves your skin feeling pretty soft.If you have tried other creams like this, the pain relief is pretty similar. This is good for general muscles aches, but won’t get to anything much deeper than that. It would be nice to use as a massage lotion as working it in could definitely help it work faster. I didn’t notice more pain relief from this than other creams that cost a lot less, so while this works I think the price is a bit high.

I think whether this cream helps with your pain depends on the type of pain or how you want to use this cream (daily or just for a specific pain). I deal with an inflamed shoulder (shoulder impingement) and wasn’t sure if this would help. Did it? Maybe a bit - the muscles around my shoulder felt better. It did feel good being massaged into my shoulder. When I first used this cream, it felt icy hot, which lasted about 30-45 minutes. After that, it felt warm for a while. I do think this cream would work well for sore muscles.This cream does have a menthol aroma, but it's not unpleasant. When I smelled it for the first time, I tried to place where I had smelled something similar - and finally remembered - it smells like Vicks VaporRub. It’s not a super strong aroma, but it’s there. Once the cream was absorbed, the aroma went away.This cream is a possibility if you want to try a pain reliever made from all natural ingredients.
