This is a compact, fairly sturdy little umbrella that is telescopic. We chose this for its compact size, especially when closed, as it fits easily into my granddaughter’s school bag and is easy to grab when it rains. The umbrella unfolds easily and is what I would call average sized which is great for a 12 year old. The item was delivered quickly and packaged well.

Perfect! Lightweight and easy to carry. Sometimes the mechanism is a bit fussy, but not a problem.

Don’t waste your time buying it

On receiving the umberella noticed a black smudge mark on the fastener.Tried emailing fron the thank you tag but got a none delivered email back?Dissapointed.It is in working order and need it for a day out so not returning too much hassle.

Great compact umbrella

I love the colour, sturdiness and how light it feels, but when you open it, it is extreeeemely hard to push during that last millimetre where it clicks and stays open. I usually have to do some weird acrobatics and if it has already started raining, then it's even more frustrating.I got it for my kid's backpack because I didn't want to add too much weight to her already loaded with books bag. She's 14 and preferred taking a heavier, but automatic, umbrella because:A) impossible to openB) once open, so small she can't cover both her and the backpack
