PARKERIM Premium Fountain Pen - Red Ignite - Special Edition Gift Box

This was bought as a gift for a friend, who loved the unusual back and red design on the casing - and also the fact that it was a Parker, a name synonymous with quality.

As stated, typical modern Parker. There is no weight to it whatsoever, therefore feels poor quality. Writes okay though.For what it cost it’s reasonable value.

Now I come to this pen from a 10 year old Parker Urban (from another special edition line)... And though I loved it, it was a hard starter (first line of the day might take 2 or 3 strokes to get flowing) a fault that series was known for, this pen is a bit shorter and a bit lighter.... And has a fine nib due to the paper these days getting worse and worse, and mediums I found just starting to plow into the paper, unless careful,Well... Only had this a couple of days, and I'm loving it so far! (ps Do yourself a favour and get a converter and a bottle of ink... You and the environment can thank me later!)

Like my tutors at school that used fountain pens, I to do so. My first was purchased having seen my science teacher use one. Better writing and bold distinctive text/letter(s) as a result of using such pens. I like this one very much and recommend it.
