Fresh, and good

Old fashioned candy my hind foot! A bunch of little individually wrapped candies not at all what was pictured and notThis worth the money. I could have gotten this at my local store for $10. This candy was also old and still. Not edible and I can't return it. Buyers beware! Amazon needs to weed out cons!

I ordered this candy as a gift for my husband's birthday to complement other vintage 1950's gifts. I thought I was buying candies that were the same or similar to the candy that he liked when he was a kid. What I received was mostly unfamiliar brands of cheap candy. This looks exactly like a bag of trick-or-treat candy from when I was a kid, only it's the week after Halloween and this is the stuff that’s left over when all the good candy has been eaten.The only name brands I was familiar with were the two Mallo Cups and two Sugar Daddys. There were no toffee rolls included like Brach's Royales (my favorite) even though the bag in the picture seems to have them. About 1/2 of the bag I received was hard candy, mostly butterscotch and peppermint. The nougats and taffies were all warped out of shape and stuck like glue to the wrappers.I regret buying this and I'm now trying to think what to do with this candy no one wants.

I did not receive all the candies that were advertised (was looking forward to the sugar daddy’s and sugar babies .did not receive eitherMany were stale ,half wrapped and smashed.I loved the idea of vintage candyThe butter scotch and root barrels tasted horribleOthers tasted like that sat around for fifty years I can’t believe i wasted 30 dollars! Ten dollars is even too much for the bag I got

I put this candy out in several Candy dishes and I thought that it would last but boy was I wrong. Everyone got their fingers into the bowls and there was no stopping them. Everyone found their favorites and the Candy dishes look like they had been hit by a potluck supper of 150 people - meaning that there was barely any left. Great value for what I spent though.

After reading some troublesome reviews, I immediately regretted not looking at them before purchasing. The candy I received was fresh and packaged well. No, I did not get a lot of the main items shown in the picture but I did get a good variety. The first thing I tried was the mallow cup as a test to see how fresh the candy was. It was super fresh. I’m sure I lucked out. I do know that I will not be purchasing this during the hot months. That would be asking for disappointment.

I love ABBA-ZABA'S & BIG HUNKS when I was a kid... my grandson is getting braces in couple months... so I saw this bag of candy and we both were very excited! Counting down the days tell delivery... and it only had 3 of each of those... and a bunch of CRAPPY other candies... and if that wasn't disappointing enough... it's all old and tastes like its last years or even two years ago... almost $30 for CRAP! THANKS for ruining my nostalgic moment with my grandson.... 😑 I'm returning it! I want my money back!!!Update. ... Amazon saved the day! Thank you ... I told them they shouldn't sell their products.

None of the candy is overly hard! Shipping and handling is expensive, so plan to ship to yourself if you plan to gift.
