Q: Does the key fob get the same distance as there remote once set up?

The remote that comes with the kit gets considerably longer range than the factory Toyota key fob. In an outdoor setting, at least a city block away, I’ve been able to start the car with the remote. Starting the car from just inside the house is no problem at all. Good product and reliable!!!

Q: How long is the wire? Also wheres the best place to mount the antenna?

The wire is atleast 6ft I mounted mine behind my rearview mirror just stuck the antenna to the glass with the double sided tape that comes with it

Q: Does this works with start x remote starts?

Yes it does but the direction on how to program the Start X with this RF kit was not included with the RF Kit or with the Start X kit. I emailed the Start X customer service and they were able to email it to me. Very easy to setup.
