Took a minute
The media could not be loaded. When it came to training our dogs to use this, it did take a minute for them to get it figured out. Our lab took the longest to train, while our chihuahua picked up on it a little faster. Not sure if it's because they're smaller, but our lab is able to get this figured out now. Even with the difference in paw size, either one is able to move the pieces around. When it comes to treats, we have small treats that fit inside of these but the bigger bones, we just break into pieces and they're able to fit inside a lot better. With this being on the floor, it can collect fur and crumbs pretty easily. However, the best thing about this toy is it's fully washable. I just move it around in warm, soapy water and rinse it off. I do have to make sure to move the pieces around to get all the cubbies to fully dry, but it's really easy to clean. Great toy and fun to watch them look for their treats.

WAY Too Easy
My black lab is not the sharpest knife in the drawer but he was able to eat everything out of this in about 10 seconds without having had any experience with a treat puzzle before. The pieces give little to no resistance moving around. The thing feels flimsy and easily breakable but thats probably most treat puzzles that are 100% plastic. So unless your dog is a complete idiot, you'd be better-suited to begin with a more advanced treat puzzle.

Fun toy
I purchased this primarily for our 1 yr old Australian Shepard. She had this conquered in 2.2 seconds, which is not unusual for her. Then I let our 5 yr old lab mixes try it out. They are more sedate about eating, and chose to go more slowly! While not as fast as the young one, this was also easily solved. So I made it more difficult by only placing three treats in at a time. Both dogs appeared to get enjoyment from this. The only drawback of the toy is the slides are very loose fitting and move easily. So I have to load the treats on the floor so they don’t fall out if I tip it.

My beagle loves this!!!
This is Rider's second IQ puzzle toy and understood what he had to do with this puzzle. He mastered it right away...seriously. After he goes out and does his business he knows he will get to play with his puzzle as a reward. Thankfully he doesn't sniff for days before he "goes" now. (Beagle owners will understand that!) The puzzle is sturdy and the "sliders" are easy to open. I highly recommend this puzzle toy.

Great for mental stimulation
The media could not be loaded. Mental exercise is just as important as physical exercise. it also promotes nose work. This is the first puzzle I have gotten for him. He was clueless at first, but I've watched him problem solve each time he's used it, and he's pretty much got it figured out. Time to get another one.

Not for super-chew or very intelligent dogs. .
Supersmart dog got frustrated and tried to pull off handles with her teeth. She has amazing chewing strength so we don't use it that often. Border collie-poodle mix took about 2 mins to finish it off. Started to try to pull sliding parts off with her teeth. Great for instant gratification

Puppy loves it
I started feeding my 3 month old puppy his meals out of this because he loves it. Definitely keeps him occupied. The only reason I take a star off is because it’s hard to clean, I wish you could take it apart but I couldn’t figure out how without hurting myself lol

Amazing
I love this thing. This is how I taught my dog to do it. I did hid the yummy treats so he smelled them but didn’t see, he was very determined to get them. It didn’t take too long for him to figure everything out. It doesn’t get boring for him.
