Beyond the Garden (Magnolia Series) Paperback – February 12, 2018

Make sure you read Magnolia Nights first. This series focuses on family with drama and a little romance. Not your typical love story. I enjoyed this series.

My Mother’s family has been in Charleston since the 1600’s so we have a very long past there (as well as the present with my daughter living there now.) Getting to travel the streets & visit the restaurants & neighborhoods through the author’s eyes is wonderfully transportive. I did think the author did a really good job with the book. When I read the first book, I felt it was “murky” as to our heroine’s first years in the home. But this book answered all those questions for me. I thought the characters were fully formed & interesting people. And the plot certainly surprised me again & again. The author did keep the suspense going well from the first book throughout this wrap-up. Very nicely done, & I am now following Ms. Farley & will pick up some more of her books in the future. ( And maybe I’ll get to meet her at Moonlight & Magnolias this year!)

As second book this was excellent reading and definitely keep you turning the page to find out what was going to happen next. Really enjoyed both of these books. I do have more books by this author. Will be purchasing more. Keep the good work Ashley Farley.

This is one of those books that hooks you in right from the start. I enjoyed the characters very much. Not a lot of suspense, more like a family drama in my opinion.

This sequel to Magnolia Nights certainly keeps the reader’s attention. The characters remain just as engaging and we learn more about them in the sequel. Lia is still on the run and Ellie is determined to make a home for the twins. Ashley Farley has put quite a bit of action and twists in this one.Highly recommend

I first read the Sweeny Sisters series and I was hooked. Ashley Farley is very good at leaving you wondering what will happen next. I have bought more of her books and I'm looking forward to reading them. If you haven't read the Sweeny Sisters series I would highly recommend that you do.

I loved the first book in this series and the second one was just as good. Twist and turns at every corner, happiness, love and sadness. A very captivating story and I highly recommend it.

This book is the second in a short series. It ties up the story very well and was a really good book to read. You definitely need to read book one first.
