Perfect -- even has an "off" button
Love this accurate, easy to use angle finder for all the reasons that everyone has already written about. Some folks complain about it not having an off switch to save battery life: there is a small button beneath the angle readout that gives access to the battery, if you depress that just a bit, the battery disengages instantly -- push back on the wider tray above the readout to re-engage the battery. Easy, effective and friction keeps the battery tray where it belongs.

Good product
Great item at a great price. Works very well and makes measuring angles dead on. It takes guesswork work out of setting up odd angles up on a miter saw.

Well-made; Useful; not perfect, tho'; Made to use with larger items, but OK for miniatures
The the stainless-steel arms of this angle tool are definitely made to last a very long time. The digital read-out is easy to see and its housing seems to be a high-impact type of plastic, so that will also last a good long time. There is an "On" button that also sets the "zero" angle to be whatever you want, so it works for additive angles. There is also a "Rev" or reverse angle button if you need to measure an inside angle.I do wish it had an "Off" button, though, so I could turn it off the instant I'm done, which would save battery life. I also would have preferred arms that were not so wide. I also wish there was some sort of "soft stop" at 90 degrees.I got this so I could measure the angles I cut on 1:120 scale projects, to make sure that what I actually cut is at the correct angle. This works decently for that, although the wide arms make it cumbersome. But it "is" accurate, and I've been able to adapt so far.

Precise and easy to use
I just used this for the first time in a project and I don’t know how I cut angles without it. It makes measuring precise angles so easy! No need to trust your saw - which can be a little off. Just cut a piece of scrap and measure with this tool to a tenth of a degree. Adjust/recheck as needed and you get a perfect angle cut.

What A GREAT Angle Finder
What a great Angle Finder at a great price. I usually don't do product reviews but I felt that I should for this tool since there is a lot of misinformation on other reviews. First, let me start by saying that there ARE instructions included with the product. When opening the packaging, don't tear the product card that the tool is on. If you pull out the card and open it up, on the inside are the instructions. This will tell you how to install the supplied battery (very easy), about the auto shut off after 5 minutes of no use and how to use the tool. I found the instructions to be very helpful, so much so that I saved them for future use if needed. If you are thinking about using this tool for a large construction job like framing a house, this might not be the best tool for the job. But if you are going to use it for hobby or finish work, this would be a great tool to have in your tool box. I can't say enough good things about this tool and I know It will be used a lot in the future.

Great tool with serious design flaw
This is one of those tools I can't believe I lived without. The tool is well made with finely engraved markings for the rules. These are very precise and the angle measure is precise to within 1\10th degree. I would have given this 5-stars if it had an on\off button. It powers off on a timer. To turn off the battery must be slid out. The problem is the contact for the battery fatigues. Mine died after 8 hours. I thought maybe the included battery was bad and I put in a new one. It wouldn't work. I ended up disassembling it and inserted a bit of mouse pad rubber behind the flimsy battery terminal so it holds contact. Now it works fine, but I wonder how long that will last. Unfortunately, the best alternative is made by Bosch at around $200- ! Similar brands in the price range of this one appear to use the same meter and slip ring head. It's a great tool but so far pretty maintenance heavy.

I've been a carpenter for 43 years and this tool makes my job easier when I come across unconventional angles.Easy to use. Note: When reading angle sometimes you will have to subtract 90 degrees to arrive at usable angle.Battery has lasted me 3yrs now. Quality built. I highly recommend to serious craftsmen.

Funcional
Cumple su función. La graduacion es sencilla de interpretar. Solo hau que dejar .2 grados extra para que al momento de apretar tuerca esta regrese al angulo deseado. Fuera de ahi, es buen producto.
