awesome for the Hobbist Maple Syrup-er
I gave this as a gift to my father who taps or maple trees in the back yard. These filter are meant to go with the strainer but they seem much bigger which is why i didn't give this a full 5 stars because I am not sure how it is going to work with the strainer but none the less it is an amazing gift for someone who doesn't make maple syrup by the giant bucket full.Thank you so much!

Speeds up the process
Yes, they're a but pricey, but they make everything much easier. It slows down the clogging of my felt filter and is great rough filter for sugar water right out the bucket.
