Get what you pay for
This was an intro to models for a 1st grader. He was unable to put it together himself but is happy with the end result. As the one who paid for it and had to put it together, there are some comments I thought I should provide.1. It is not very sturdy. The pieces don't connect together well and required me to use some crazy glue to keep the thing together.2. The wheels are a no-go. I couldn't figure out how to attach the set of plastic landing gear wheels and they ended up snapping. The instructions weren't helpful either.Basically, this was an inexpensive way for my kid to get a bomber that he wanted.

What you see may not be what you receive
The attached picture on Amazon show the US stars on the wings and rear of the fuselage, propellers with painted tips, and "US AIR FORCE" on the fuselage above the wings, the two pics of the one I received have none of these, just the stripes on the wing and fuselage. Without these markings, just a generic model. Another issue is the fitment, took filing and trimming to get the parts to fit together without gaps, even had to glue the engines onto the wings since the guide pins were not seated deep enough. To get it to fit decently,be prepared to spend and hour and some fast setting glue to close the gaps

Very bad quality
It's things like this that make me want to stop ordering from Amazon. The build quality is so bad the engines just flop around on the front, the tail feathers keep falling out and assembling it took an adult because of the tiny screws and fit problems. We finally got it together and had to glue everything but man. What a cheap product quality wise.

Disappointing
We purchased another model this summer branded under Smithsonian and were happy with it. However, this one does not sit properly on the stand--it keeps falling off no matter which way we try to position it. One of the little wheels snapped apart when trying to push it into place. (Awkward way to insert tiny plastic wheels--other model was the same way,) And it was difficult to line everything up to screw it together. We accidentally screwed one screw the whole way through to the other side while trying to get it to fit together such that the propellers didn't fall out. Really disappointing considering the other one went together fairly easily and my son (now 10) took it apart and put it together again several times. (Not what I wanted him to do of course, but it withstood the extra handling.)
