I just made a take on Italian Wedding soup & added in about a teaspoon while sauté the veg. Such a great flavor! I’ll be using this allot I make a lot of soups & stews. Thanks 🍄

A little goes a long way to add tremendous depth of flavor
I have used dried porcini mushrooms that I rehydrated to add to my dishes and always loved the flavor of them. This dried porcini powder makes it easy to add that tremendous umami depth of flavor to so many dishes. A little goes a long way so be cautious when you first try it. I add it to my sauces and ground meat to be used in burgers, meat balls, Salisbury steaks and so much more. You can add it to your favorite dry rubs or coat the surface of meats with it to give a huge flavor boost. I used it last night in a stroganoff sauce and the flavor was off the charts. I can't praise it enough.

I don't really get much flavor
I want to be fair, I'm 64 and my taste buds may not be the best, but I'm not getting any flavor.I get flavor from reconstituting dried mushrooms, but nothing from this powder. Then again, I'vemade my own powder putting dried mushrooms in my coffee bean grinder, and I don't get much flavor from those either.

Umami
Although I havn't used this product much, I have dried my own porcini mushrooms for several years. I live in an area where they grow, and I learned from an Italian neighbor several years ago how to make a meat sauce with dried porcinis for pasta. This porcini powder has the same aroma as my dried ones, which becomes much more pronounced. I am confident that this is a very good product. I also tried dried chanterelles before, and they were bitter and hard, but had an amazing dish once that was made from dried chanterelle powder, and it was awesome. It was not bitter, and had that distinctive apricot flavor of the chanterelle.

Organic Dried Porcini Mushroom Powder is Excellent
I’ve been having fun experimenting with this dried porcini powder. It’s delicious in vegan pho, mushroom gravy and soup, pasta sauce, and Just Egg or tofu scrambles. I’m just getting started… 😋
