Love how it smells but too oily and doesn't work for mosquitoes, works great as a lotion/body cream

I ordered this product 2 different times. The first time I received a lovely moisturizing cream with a beautiful scent of pineapple. I was so pleased that I ordered it a second time within a month of ordering the first. Unfortunately, the second cream I ordered smelled rancid, as if the pineapple scent went bad or something else made its way into the product. I am compensating for this problem by adding pineapple oil to it upon each application. This was a good fix for the rancid smell the second time around.

Amazing hydration and texture, perfectly whipped, easy to spread. But the mango scent does not really smell like mango, it is very strong, and it is unclear how the scent is derived (there are no ingredients listed, just 100% shea butter, but obviously the scent is not shea butter so there must be another ingredient, i.e. essential oils or artificial fragrance). I picked this one though because the reviews were better, and I was scared that the regular one would not be as whipped as I wanted it to be. Next time I will order the unscented whipped shea from this company.Update: I ordered the unscented version and it is a much grittier texture. If you are looking for smooth texture, this is the one you want!

Sighs. Let me tell y’all about this circus clown (myself) and the fiasco I went through over the last couple of weeks. It pains me to write this review lol but the pic on the right (more yellow) is the smell that I fell in LOVE with. I was running low, as you can see, and went to replace it. Well at the time, Amazon didn’t have the 12oz (availability was like 2 months out) so I settled for the 6oz. Different texture, different smell. While I do appreciate the whipped texture, it’s grainy and it stinks. Another reviewer on here actually pointed out the grainy texture so why didn’t I believe her? Lol So now I’m on a hunt!! I find the company on Etsy, they have the 12oz available. Yes!! I purchase it, I get it, ugh, same stinky smell. I even reach out to them inquiring about what changed, crickets, they just gave me a refund without addressing my concern. I come back to Amazon in desperation because they NOW have the 12oz available. I make one last ditch effort to get this first one lololol FAIL. So now my simple self got 3 jars of stinky butter that I hate. Luckily I’m able to return them but goodness. Thats a wrap. It’s one of those, enjoy it while it last because you’ll never see it again. 😩

I love the smell and the texture.

I like lavender but this was so strong it irritates my nose and throat. If there is a fragrance free version I think I’d love it. Sadly my coworkers agree it’s way too strong and I’ll be returning.

It moisture my skin very well, and smell good as well. Reorder two of them and waiting to satisfy again. Recommend.
