It gets rust
My sink is aluminum when I used the product first it seemed very convenient but next day I noticed the rust on the sink beneath the product.. maybe if it needs a box as a container.. but It didn’t suited me .. I can’t recommend it as a kitchen aid.

Don’t buy it
It rusts easily, therefore don't buy it. I only ever used it once, and after cleaning and hanging it to dry, the entire piece of steel wool started to rust. This product's price indicates why it's a waste of money.
