My wife loved this lotion
This product was purchased for my wife during her pregnancy. She is petite and we were expecting a big boy. My wife loved this lotion, she put it on every night before bed. She had very minimal stretch marks. I didn't even notice them until she pointed them out. No one would see them, if she did not point them out. I am not sure if it is because of this product, but she loved it and is continuing to use it. I recommend it for women who want to minimize stretch marks while pregnant. We ordered more so we will have enough for baby #2.The lotion:The lotion is super thick, and mildly greasy, smells good. I think a little goes along way, but my wife layered it on. She uses regularly Palmers coco butter and this lotion is a bit thicker than that.

More than expected
OK, long story. My son was born 3 months early so I never got to the point that I needed this. We moved 4 years later and it moved with us. At least 3 more years go by and I discover it and decide to use it anyway. WOW! I work on the water all day every day. This is the BEST stuff to make up for the wind burn and abuse my face takes. Not saying I am looking like a model, but everyone guesses I am at least 10 yrs younger than I am. This is on my list of "Can't do without" items!P.S. It only takes a little to do a whole lot.

Don’t do it!! This stuff smells SO BAD!!!!
What kind of friend is this??? When I was pregnant I couldn’t bare to use this lotion because simply opening the lid made me gag... well I thought it was because I was pregnant and had an overly sensitive sense of smell... NOPE!!! I’m currently not pregnant, my baby is 19 months old, and I just found this lotion in my closet again. I thought, “hmmm, it’s winter and my skin is dry, maybe now that I’m not pregnant I can try it again.” That was the biggest mistake I’ve made in a while. I’m really tired and I’m about to take a shower at midnight because I’m so close to vomiting at the smell of myself. I’m sure my skin is moisturized, but why for the love of god can’t they make this stuff unscented??? Mothers are having a hard enough time as it is with a huge belly, dry itchy skin, and just, you know, growing a human, why would this company posing as a “mother’s friend” create such a putrid smelling lotion?? Do they generate joy out of making pregnant women walk around smelling like an old woman’s rancid perfume? Please save your money and find a lotion that is unscented... you will thank me later. P.S. I didn’t use this stuff and instead found an unscented lotion, and I didn’t get any stretch marks either... a lot of that stuff is genetic anyway, and they don’t have unicorn horn shavings or leprechaun tears in this lotion so don’t torture yourself with an unbearable smell for the promise of magic pregnancy skin. Again, the only reason I am reviewing this now is because I gave it the benefit of the doubt that I was just pregnant and couldn’t handle the smell then. But like I said, I’m currently NOT pregnant and I’m sick to my stomach at the stench... not cool “Mother’s Friend,” not cool...

Absolutely LOVE It!!!!
I have been using Mother's Friend twice a day throughout my entire pregnancy. It's mildy fragranted, kind of smells like Johnson's baby lotion, but after a while it's barely noticeable. I have to say that I absolutely LOVE this product. This is my first pregnancy and I've gained over 50 pounds and have just 3 weeks to go. Most of the weight is in my boobs, belly, face, hands and feet; my arms and legs still fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes. I brought that up because my pregnant body is all baby and Mother's Friend has helped keep my ever expanding skin, free from stretch marks. I also rub my skin when it's itchy rather than scratch it, and drinking plenty of water helps keep it nicely hydrated. I would certainly recommend Mother's Friend to anyone. It's truly been a skin-saver.

Nice moisturizer during pregnancy
Love this! I have used it to moisturize and prevent stretch marks during both of my pregnancies and it has been most effective! It is a very thick cream, however it goes on very smooth and does not feel greasy.

Nice cream!
My mom's friend recommended this to me when i found out I was pregnant. She's in her 60s and used it back then when she was pregnant with her kids. I've been using this since I was 20 weeks pregnant and i love the thickness of the cream. I spread it on my belly 2x a day, morning and night. Never experienced any itching, even though my belly skin is tight it's not uncomfortable - i give credit to Mother's Friend. Now I'm 29 weeks and no signs of stretch marks, hope it stays that way. In the meantime, I'll keep using this. I bought the 3 pack. One jar lasted me about 1.5 months and only really putting it on my belly, hips, and lower back area where I feel skin tightness.

Expecting mother must have!
I heard of a friend's mother who used this during her pregnancy and had little to no stretch marks. I searched the market and decided on this one. Best purchase! I applied it everywhere throughout my pregnancy at least twice a day (morning/night), sometimes an additional time if I felt itchy/dry. Just keep in mind that a little goes a long way. No stretch marks!
