I have an older house, and this industrial-looking lampshade wasn't quite the right look, but it was exactly the right size, it was a great price, and I liked how sturdy it looked. When it arrived, I wrapped it some of that wide floral-industry ribbon, the stuff with the stiff edges that holds its shape. The shade was easy to wrap. Because of the wire in the ribbon, I didn't even need glue or thread to hold the ribbon in place. The ribbon is gold with a slight sparkly pattern, and the lampshade looks fabulous.

My 11-year-old opened this box and was seriously confused about the lampshades. She messaged me and said something strange came in from Amazon and, when I told her what these were, she said that they sound awful. She changed her mind when I put them on and then when night came... wow! What an absolute difference in our home! I love the modern look and seriously did not realize how dark my living room looked with standard lampshades. I love the additional light and feel that these provide and am VERY happy with my purchased. I assume they will hold up well and are very sturdy yet easy to bend to the light bulb.

These r great if u like and or need lots of light in your room. I never like lamp shades, so to avoid a bare lamp I purchased these, they r metal, light weight wire, very smooth; it's like a shade frame, where you can place a covering of you choice around it. It clips perfectly over you bulb, you get two in a package

A friend gave me this lamp made from a meat grinder years ago, but I had never found the right shade for it. This one was perfect! Love it!

I love the look of this, but it's difficult to keep it level on an Edison-style bulb. I opened the prongs carefully, but there is still too much give. You obviously need a decorative bulb for this so it's frustrating that it won't stay on the bulb properly.
