To me these are a good value convertable pant. No, they are not North Face or Marmot quality BUT, for the money, they seem to be a good value. The full stretch material is very nice, material soft & comfy, and sizing very accurate. Per other reviews: The zippers work fine. Note, about every convertable pant i have ever had (many), the "convertable" zipper (at knee) are finicky. If you are patient, and get the zipper aligned & seated properly, they work fine. Also, per many complaints about the belt; mine works fine. My main complaint is that the one i got is VERY long(like 10-12" extra length). Of course, I will just cut this off, and burn the end to seal it. For the money, I recommend these pants.

I recently bought 3 pairs of these pants (Blue, Gray, & Khaki), and love them. They’re very comfortable & the fit is great. I get lots of compliments on them, especially when I’m at a doctor’s office, and need to expose my knees/legs. However, the belt that came with each (Forest Green, for each) is garbage. 2 of the 3 came with the buckle closed, but I didn’t think anything of it. I decided one day to try the belt out, so I threaded it through the loops, and wore it all day. When I went to take the pants off, the buckle wouldn’t open. I tried everything I could think of, including looking at the other belts (to see if there was something I couldn’t see on the buckle I had on), but couldn’t get it open. I lengthened the belt, so I could get the pants off. I ended up cutting the buckle off, and through the belt away. I’m planning on throwing the other 2 belts away too, as I can’t get those open either.

Pros:-comfotable, durable, breathableCons:-Not much stretch, which limits movement. Fine for hiking, but makes climbing, sports, etc. difficult-The belt release is a button covering the entire face of the buckle, making it very easy to accidently unbuckle the belt-Despite this, the belt is a pain to completely remove, making airport security more difficult than it should be

WOW - Love material easy to clean on the run when driving in Enterprise of Florida - However Belt does not fit loops - and zipper pocket breaks easily on all 8 pairs I have.

Although the material is light as described, I didn't like the material and the construction was inferior, there was a hole in the seam of the pocket.

Seem is a little closer to knee than I like but isn’t too irritating. Overall like the pants
