OMG, I have just received and installed this fly screen, and I LOVE IT! We have been plagued by flies this summer... shouldn't complain really; they're only this bad because it's such glorious weather, but honestly I've been hoovering up at least a dozen fly corpses every morning from the window-ledge in my study, which is off the kitchen, and which they are drawn to like... well... flies to a jam pot. They've been driving me MAD!In desperation I sought a solution, and after reading the other reviews I opted for this one. Some of the cheaper alternatives didn't have such good reviews, and the last thing I wanted was to waste my time installing something that was a pain in the proverbial and fell down after the first storm.OK, so we haven't had a storm yet, but the screen was EASY PEASY to install. I did have to adjust the height, but I knew that I'd have to do that when I ordered it, and it wasn't rocket science - took about half-an-hour. If you don't know your way around a sewing-machine, your local seamstress would be able to do it no bother. Now it's hung in place, it looks TEN TIMES better than I expected it to look, my kitchen door is open and a cooling breeze is drifting through... AND THERE IS NOT A FLY IN SIGHT.In case you can't tell from all of this - I am DELIGHTED with this screen and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Liked the colour and frill at the top. Looks like the screen was meant to be there.Had difficulty installing and had several tries, unfortunately due to the stickiness of the tape I ended up removing part of the paint on my wall when trying to adjust.Ensure that you put the tape on the top first before attempting to add the tape on the sides as per the instructions. I found it easier to do the top first. My mistake as I initially did as per the instructions and got myself in a right old tangle so I took the tape off the sides and tried again my way.Unfortunately the curtain is a tad too long for my doorway so the curtain doesn’t always close properly when my dog comes back in from the garden. Going out is not a problem. Not sure why.All in all I am somewhat satisfied. I will attempt at a later date to cut the screen so that it is not too long. I’m assuming that I need to be careful when doing this to ensure I don’t cause any issues with the alignment of the magnets which must be aligned to be effective.Further bit of advise, ensure that the middle of the screen is slightly higher than the sides. I didn’t take note and thats how I ruined my paintwork trying to rearrange the screen after my first attempt.My dog is getting the hang of going in and out albeit rather tentatively, but come summer he will get the hang of it. My main reason for the purchase was so that I can leave the door open in the summer and not having to worry about creepy crawlies.Big bonus for me during the sunny bank holiday “no flies in my room” hurrah!!

Looks great. Hangs perfect. Fits a normal door perfectly although a tad long, maybe 3 inches. Has velcro down both sides and across the top which makes it much more secure than some other screens you can buy. There are magnets all the way down the middle which again is much better than others where they only have a magnet every 8 inches or so.

Across the years we have had a few of these door curtains but this one far surpasses anything we’ve had so far. It’s far more robust and a far better design and is doing the job brilliantly. It’s a good long curtain which is a change for us as it fits the whole door. Our previous one came a foot short and those pesky flys seemed to work out they could get underneath it. It was a dream to fit. You get Velcro strips that fit the full length of the sides and top sticking it ideally to your door frame. However in our case this isn’t possible so I’ve actually stuck them to the wall and it’s really fixed well. You also get some pins for added stability which I haven’t had to use. In the past we’ve actually had to fit batons but these were not needed.I would recommend that you fit the door curtain after a period of dry weather if it’s going to be outside. The middle of the curtain ( the opening) has magnets enclosed within a bound strip. The magnets are plentiful and are longer at the top than the bottom. This has the effect of pulling the curtain shut behind you. The curtain itself is netting however it’s well made and feels like it’s really going to last. I like the fact that it’s black so won’t show any marks. Last night we had strong winds and rain and the curtain didn’t move and looks as good as new. Finally my dog (he is a small chap) has absolutely no problems getting outside through the door. Within minutes he’d worked out that he just needed to walk through it and it opens. I think for its quality and durability this is fantastic value for money and I’m seriously considering ordering another to keep as a spare for when this eventually needs replacing. I definitely recommend this curtain.

Easy to install. Quality is good. With the recent hot weather it was great to have the door open and not worry about flies etc getting in. The only downside was the size. I wanted it for double conservatory doors and it only covered one side. I went by the picture instead of checking the measurements.

excellent compared to others I've had - the only thing is you do have to cut the bottom off if it's too long as it won't close properly (and will get caught in the door) if it's too long.Easy to fit and the full length magnets make sure it closes easily.The only real irritation (as with all of these) is that it doesn't give you much room to get out if it's a narrow door.

Exactly as described. Very easy to put up with the Velcro provided. I am petrified of wasps so until I got these had not been able to leave a door open to let some fresh air in and came in and out of the door at speed for fear of the evil little pests getting in behind me! Now feel completely protected with these screens as they close so quickly behind you. Definitely does the job.
