My First 1000 Words

Loved this book. Tons of pages and things to looks at. I keep it in the backseat to entertain the kids, and it works a treat for my fussy 2 year old. Also, both kids are naturally destructive creatures, and this book was bought for my now 4 year old... it has survived through 2 children chewing and scrunching and peeling.... clearly extremely durable. Highly recommend! I wish there were more of these.

Lots of pictures and words for toddlers to learn from. Lots of “actions” in the pictures too (ex: monkey hanging from a tree). This is helping my toddler learn verbs rather than just nouns and has helped her verbal skills so much. The pages are almost plastic-like which is great for toddlers because they’re sturdier than plain paper pages. I will be gifting this book to all toddlers for their 2nd birthday!

The illustrations are adorable but some words / scenes are not useful. It’s American and not British English!
