Great for people who grind during sleep aka bruxism
This is a very good teeth accessory. The purpose of it is to wear it prior to going to sleep a condition also known as bruxism. Each pack contains 2 self-fit night guards that can be worn on the upper or lower teeth. It is a form of sleeping aid in the sense that, if you grind teeth, it may impact the sleep. Teeth grinding is common in children and teenagers, particularly during sleep. It often stops when they reach adulthood and their adult teeth have come through. Symptoms include, worn-down or broken teeth, which can cause increased sensitivity and loss of teeth and fillings. One of the ways to mitigate the teeth grinding is perhaps using this as merely aid. `it will not address the teeth grinding as such but while you are waiting to fix it, use it as a temporary measureWhat I didn't like is that you have to keep an eye on the hygiene. Therefore, try to wash it everyday or else you risk of getting cavity if used dirty. Think of it as teeth when it comes to hygiene. If you don't clean it in hot water everyday, you may impact your teeth. If you can keep up with the cleaning, the usage to benefit your grinding is good.

Not bad, better than average
I ordered these needing some new mouth guards as I have been clenching quite badly at nighttime and waking with bad jaw ache. The last lot I ordered were the regular translucent thick melt in boiling water kind and they are ok but I find them a bit thick and cumbersome in my mouth so I wanted to try something a bit different. These are slightly different, they are a bit more expensive but they are made from different material and I think they are better because the translucent ones are really ‘chewy’ and I think they make me grind harder through the night and whilst they still protect my teeth my jaw muscles still get really achey. These ones are much stiffer in your mouth once you have moulded them so I’m hoping that I won’t be as tempted to chew on them through the night, thus reducing my jaw pain. So far I think it has been slightly reduced. It was more tricky to mould as the core is harder so I gave up with their suggested water temperature and just went for boiling water in the end to get the right fit. I also gave up on it fitting my top teeth but got a good fit on my bottom teeth, and it feels snug under tongue.Time will tell but I think it is slightly better than my old ones.

Moulded first time
The mouth guards come in a pack of 2 complete with moulding instruction annual. The manual is super easy to follow with it's step by step instructions and images. There are 8 steps in total to follow and I completed this from start to finish in 5 minutes.I followed the instruction and now have a functional teeth guard for bedtime, fits perfect and the moulding temperatures and timings were accurate.I am no stranger to guards and have tried many over the years and many I have melted to blobs due to incorrect instructions. When I first took the guard out of the packet I was quite disappointed because it just looked like a bulky sports guard but after moulding it I am very pleased with the results.

DO NOT BUY
The media could not be loaded. Absolutely useless, I have suffered with grinding my teeth for years and this is the worst mouthguard I ever bought, both of the guards supplied fell apart during the first night of use, the white part came away from the gel part. Makes it feel like I will choke on the white part in my sleep

Poor overall
I really did not get on with these at all. I followed the directions and as I have a missing tooth on my bottom row, I moulded the first to my top teeth (as per the instructions). No chance were this fitting on my teeth and staying out for more than 30 seconds. I tried the second one being moulded on my bottom teeth, this did sit a little better but I wouldn't trust this while sleeping as I fear I would choke when it moves eventually.

Surprisingly good bite guard
I need to wear a bite guard at night because I clench my jaw rather than grinding my teeth now. Because of this, I eventually bite threw some bite guards.I like this one because it is made from two different pieces of plastic. It's firm but not hard so doesn't dig into the gum. I soaked it in just boiled water for two minutes then moulded it. It fits tightly and is comfortable. It didn't rub or dig into my gum overnight. It's also got a nice low profile too. Very good.

Not for me unfortunately
I clench and grind my teeth ferociously both at night and in the day time when I’m stressed. I paid a lot of money for a made to measure bottom guard from my dentist a few years ago but it’s now gotten very tight and uncomfortable to use, but getting another made at a dentist in the foreseeable future is just a pipe dream so I was looking for a suitable alternative guard I could use until miracles happen and britain employs more dentists. This guard comes with easy-ish instructions. I just used water from the kettle to mould my guards. These are a little more firmer than previous guards I’ve tried and I did find them a bit awkward to mould to my teeth. The bottom guard moulded better than the top, which felt far too bulky and kept catching my inner top lip. The bottom felt more comfortable but very unnatural and I am super aware that the guards are in which make me clench and chomp all the more. These do a good job protecting the teeth but give me terrible jaw ache. After a months use, I’m still not comfortable wearing these guards and my sleep is worse than ever. I’d say these were better than nothing if you grind as at least your teeth are protected from chipping but I definitely clench more wearing them, giving me more jaw pain. I will however persevere with these until I can get a bespoke guard made by my dentist.
