Good value
Bought this for my Mother who spends a lot of time doing crosswords. She loved it and couldn't put it down.

Disappointment
I enjoy doing a daily quick crossword in the morning to get the cerebral mass moving so I purchased the Mensa 10 min crossword puzzles. However, I found the idea of 10m somewhat optimistic. I am not a Mensa member, but I do like crosswords and regularly do both cryptic and general knowledge puzzles, mostly from the Telegraph group. For me this Mensa selection was too complicated and missed the point of a short stimulus to start the day.So I then bought the 2011 Crossword Calendar which has a separate puzzle for each day (Sat/Sun as one day) designed to go on an office desk. This is slightly simpler than the Mensa calendar, but can be quite a challenge. It is also poorly edited - a number of mistakes include giving the answer as the clue and not showing the number of words. For instance, one clue is 'Former British Colony' (8). The answer was Hong Kong (4,4).So there is definitely a market for a daily dated crossword calendar which is not too simple, but which can be finished most days in 10-15m.Travers

absolutely useless unless you are american
This was supposed to last a year, but we had to give up on it after less than a week. It is an American based crossword selection, and if you thought that American was like English with some phonetic spelling, then think again. It is an entirely different language. If you are American, maybe it is fine. But if you are English or Welsh or Irish or Scottish, don't buy this. It will lead to major frustration!
