This is a wonderful book for shedding light on the history of art. The narrative/storytelling makes it an easy and enjoyable read.

Absolutely amazing. It goes through history focusing on art and artists. The illustrations are beautiful. It's fact filled but easy to read, a must have.

Such a beautiful book..not just for children...but adults too... enjoy the trip down the hidden facts behind great art and artists written in a storytelling format..very enjoyable.

We have used this book both for art appreciation and for supplement to our history studies. My children love the stories that draw you into the past. I cannot recommend this book enough. It I'll always have a spot on our bookshelf!
