Work just a little too well
These safety glasses COMPLETELY block my bright green laser light so I can’t use the laser to align my cut. I’ll keep these but I also just ordered an OD 4+ to pair to be able to see something.

IR protection and visible light protection.
Update: I have owned these for a good while now and I can say for certain the build quality is just as good as the protection they provide. I’ve been a little rough with them at times and I’m surprised. No missing rubber coating, not even peeling. These will absolutely last you for a very long time. The protection is definitely up to spec as well. I have tested them on various lasers on many occasions. Never used a laser on them that they are not rated for but I did use up to what they are rated for and nothing that would be dangerous to your vision passed through to thethe laser power tester.I would buy again but I feel I won’t have to. Great laser protection. With outstanding build quality and materials.-You accidentally hit a polished door handle and that’s it. Your eyes catch the reflection and you are blind. It’s unbelievable how many laser hobbyist’s have blind spots or have lost vision completely in one or both of their eyes.Investing in a good pair of laser protection glasses is always worth it. In fact it should be your first priority to get a quality pair. They will last you forever as long as you take cars of them. These are best laser protection glasses I have owned. They are going to protect your eyes. Unless you are looking into the night sky you should always be using laser protection for your eyes it only takes you a fraction of a second to do permanent damage to your eyes. These will protect you from blue and green laser pointers along with IR and that is important because unless your green laser is using a green diode, your laser is also releasing IR light that isn’t visible to the human eye but it’s just as dangerous as many green laser points are not IR filtered. And the amount of IR light that is coming out of the laser is often more then the visible light. Most laser protection glasses on Amazon or eBay will not block IR at all. As well as 99.99% of the cheap glasses that come with lasers you buy online.Yeah being able to see the beam of the laser is cool but do that outside into the sky as long as their are no planes in sight. Don’t point your laser in the direction of aircraft let alone at them. You will get caught and you will go to prison, they don’t mess around.

Excellent quality - comfortable and effective
These glasses are comfortable and effective. The case is normal but they include a neck strap and cleaning cloth which is nice. These are so much better than the green ones that don't work.

They work fairly decently!
Got these mainly for my higher powered Green and violet/"blue" laser pointers. Both of them are rated at 200mW but honestly they came from China so, take it with a grain of salt how bright they actually are- I will say they are brighter than the standard 5mW, by a considerable amount so, whatever.Testing the glasses, the violet laser had 99% of the light blocked. Now while it says 200mW on the label It probably isn't that high, it's still fairly dim, though not as dim as my 'so called' 5mW violet/blue pointer so... Whatever. The green pointer had closer to 95% transmission blocking. you can kind of see the dot if you hold it within a two feet or so of something light colored, it looks like 1mW pointer that has an almost fully drained battery.
