Great item.

Cheap bike helmet. I went for this helmet over a few others, as you know with Raleigh is has been built to a decent standard to pass all the proper EU and UK stress and accident demands.

I should first say that I have a slightly large head and thick hair so my experience may be different from others.I've worn it quite a few times since purchasing my new bike and it fits well. Unlike other helmets, i've never had any concerns about it falling off. I ride for up to an hour and its not been uncomfortably for me on those longer rides. Although, I have thick hair so I'm not the best person to judge this. Overall it's worked well and I hope it lasts for the rest of my riding days.

Product should have come with extra padding pieces. There were not in box. This means that the helmet will not fit someone with a smaller head. There is very good adjustment at the back but too wide at the sides.Label on helmet indicates that there should be extra padding in packing. There was not.Helmet fits my husband but could not be used by myself as I have a much smaller head. This is supposed to be unisex but only suitable without padding for someone with larger head.

The helmet fits me OK and the adjustable strap at the back helps with this.The padding is very thin and not that comfy on top of the head - the instructions advise that there are additional pads included, both to improve the comfort and help with the helmet size - but like many others, no additional padding was provided.OK for the price, but I'm not expecting it to be comfortable for any length of time.
