Works like a champ!
You don't have to use power to make it work, but I had to plug it in to power initially to light up the LED's to see what the hell was going on. It does work perfectly though. If you're switching between A, B, and Y you'll probably want power for the LED"s. I just use it for A/B, so it's pretty obvious what's going on without LED's. No audible tone issues or noise. I'd definitely buy again and recommend. I bought it a year ago; seems like it says you could power with a 9V battery? That's not true, at least not stock. Meh. Just plug in some pedal power of sorts and it'll probably do something without messing it up. The power is just for the LED's anyways.

Good For Future Use Only
The listing states "shipped within 2-3 days". What it doesn't say is that it will be shipped out of the factory to the first shipping hub IN CHINA in 2-3 days. The product won't be delivered to the buyer for over a month!It may in fact be a very good product, but most people buy a product with the intention of using sooner than a month or two in the future.
