This book was recommended to me last week by a lady in an english heritage museum shop. Well worth buying both if you are a tourist or live in London. I fall into the latter category- and have found there are so many places I do not even realise exist to see! This book helps draw your attention to some of the best..The book is easy to use- divided into sections with a map with each part of London showing the locations and nearest tube. Great glossy photos and a page on each location. I am so impressed with it I am going to buy their second volume too. (And excellent price and speed of service from Amazon so I am VERY happy).

Really great read I hope to visit many of the places I had never heard ofGood idea , take your kindle with you if you are out and about in London just to go exploring, some of the places are quite close together, you may be able to visit 2or 3 in one dayAs well as tube and train, how to get there by bus would have been good.

I was very surprised by this book. This is my best friend to exploring London because I will see things that I haven't seen despite I've been travelling to the city for 22 years. I loooooove it and I look so much forward to trying out the book for real. If you want a different guide-book and you don't need one with all the hotels and restaurants then this is it. I bought it because it intrigued me and it haven't let me down.But it and enjoy it :-)

This little book certainly lives up to its title.It is crammed full of less well known destinations and directions to get thereMost are well worth the trip as being either scenic or interesting and the book is small enough to carry with youRecommended++

Anyone who likes to explore the hidden parts of London,I think this book will be a helpful one to learn the historic roots of the locations ,buildings ,cafes,and a great excitment to spot these places which are ignored because of daily hustle and bustle of the city life.
