Insightful, delightful, sorry it had to end
I've applied for dual citizenship and found this little treasure in my quest for information about living in Ireland. It's probably only a dream, I know - yet I am heartened by this darling woman's perspective on the possibilities and mechanics. I was moved to tears by some of her experiences.

Happy/Sad
For the first time in a very long time, and I read a lot, I was absolutely heartbroken when I read the last word. Not just for Jane's sad end to living in Ireland but because I just knew there was more she experienced and could tell us. Simply put, I wanted more. Loving all things Ireland, and having been blessed to visit many times over I could see some of the places mentioned in the part of my brain that holds tightly to my Ireland memories. what a fantastic read for an Ireland addict.

I so enjoyed reading this book for we share the same passion
We have traveled to Ireland many times and it takes your soul and calls you back. I so enjoyed reading this book for we share the same passion. The descriptions of the towns And festivals were so accurate I could imagine myself back there. If you have ever had a dream to live in this magical place you will enjoy this book. I hated for it to end. It is truly a follow your dream adventure

I thoroughly enjoyed this book
Having recently returned from Kenmare, an Irish town I visit annually, I thoroughly enjoyed this book; in fact, I briefly met the author in Foley's Pub, Kenmare. Jane's vivid descriptions of this charming town, its friendly residents, and local sites delighted me from page one through the closing paragraph. What sadness I felt when learning she must return to the United States later this month. After sharing this book with my friends, I will be excited to read it again---it is just that kind of book!

Beautifully Written Memoir
This is a beautifully written memoir of an American woman who fulfilled her long-time dream of living in Ireland. Jane Fadely brings the people, landscape, and the sights, sounds and color of this gorgeous country to life in this extremely enjoyable book. I am eagerly looking forward to reading "Leaving Ireland," her sequence to this story.
