So far it's worked perfectly. The install instructions were simple and easy to understand. My rug used to bunch up against the furniture, no matter how often I adjusted it. Once I got this mat underneath it and my rug in place it hasn't budged. Even when I do yoga on top of it! Totally worth it.

I do my yoga/pilates exercises on a nice thick area rug. I love having the support and thickness of a carpet under my mat - but alas - my mat really slips around. I think I have tried every type of mat available but they are really not meant to be used on carpet - so I thought about using the "grip" to keep mat in place. It is wonderful! It really does the job - a little sticky on the bottom but it does not affect my nice rug. I tried for answers all over the internet but couldn't find a good solution. This is it - BELIEVE ME!!!

I bought this for a family member whose lightweight area rug was bunching and shifting around her carpeted apartment floor. It arrived promptly, and the directions for placing it were complete and concise. It is of good quality. I was able to finish laying the rug pad and then placing the rug back on top in a about ten minutes. It has helped to keep the rug flat and adhered to the floor. I only gave it four stars because we haven't had time to see how it will perform over time. But so far our experience has been very good!

I looked everywhere to find a rug-to-rug grip pad to keep our area rug from moving around. I had put the couch on it until I found this. I found it difficult to place the area rug on top of it exactly where I wanted it. When I finally got it placed there were ripples in the area rug that I couldn’t smooth out. It was very frustrating. I will note that I was doing this by myself and maybe if I had someone helping it would’ve worked better. I left it with the ripples but then the rug started moving a little so I just moved the couch back on it to hold it in place. So a complete waste of time and money for me. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I use this for a throw rug in my basement that has indoor/outdoor carpet and a strong slant going towards a drain. Even the slightest step would cause my rug to slide and by the end of the day, with light tread, the rug would have shifted almost 2 ft. My rug is 5'3" by 7'3" so I bought the 5x7. I dont have any issues with buckling or curling edges, just needed it to stay in place, otherwise I would have gotten a larger one and cut it to size. This was perfect! I have had it in place almost a week and my rug hasnt even budged. Will definitely by this again for my other throw rugs.

I had an area rug and a papasan that I wanted to keep from sliding under a desk. The one for the area rug arrived used but I had help to move and place items for one night so I had to use it. It's a thin piece of felt fabric that is sticky on both sides. You should have help to lay out the bigger pad because it sticks to itself. And then another person is helpful to lay out the rug on top because of the stickiness.So having it did help a tiny bit but if there's pressure on it, like with a chair, it doesn't stop the puckering, and actually makes it a little harder to smooth out. I added a chair mat later but not before the puckering. I wish I would have added that at the beginning. The bigger problem is, now when I think of this area rug, I think of it as the dirty rug. Why do I keep getting used items when I order as new?

This stuff is very thin and works very well. We use it for carpet mats on top of wall to wall carpet. This is the only solution that worked for us. However it could be better (maybe). I still need to adjust the mats once every other day or so by maybe 2 inches (yep, i'm picky). All other no slip options would allow the mats to move a foot or so everyday. Some no slip options actually walked out from under the mat while leaving the mat in place. This stuff is like double sided tape in the size of a rug/mat. However it leaves no residue and comes right up when needed. I will buy more for sure!!

The product definitely does what they say it will do! My 5x7 rug was bunching and sliding and this non slip mat really works with carpet on a carpet. A little hard to put on but it was worth it, no more fighting with the rug!!!!

I have light coloured wall to wall carpet right up to an outside door so I put a big mat (or area rug) on top to protect the carpet. Problem was it kept sliding around / bunching up and I was straightening it out several times a day, so annoying! This GORILLA GRIP thing is the bomb! I only wish I bought one sooner! I didn't actually believe anything could hold the mat (2 m X .75 m) in place but it does! If you have this problem, don't hesitate! You NEED this!

I had bought tape and put it on the carpet but it didn't work, so this time I bought the mat and its fantastic it doesn't move at all now
