Appears to be the Best Oil Filter Cap for our 2009 RAV4, All Things Considered
While I just received this item, it appears to be the true OEM replacement for our 2.5 four cylinder 2009 RAV4 and I anticipate no problems with it. Upon inspection it is of high quality and the sleeve that the oil filter element fits over is metal even though it appears to be plastic in the pictures online. I also inserted a new element just to check the fit. So I am leaving a preliminary five star review. The dealer wanted over $50 for this item.I've read reviews of people who have switched from the plastic oil filter cap to an aluminum one that they thought would be better. After reading reviews from others who experienced problems with the aluminium caps, I decided to stick with the plastic one. Toyota oem part. Not back but leave it up to Toyota that have to buy drain plug separately. Should be part of kit
