I am hospitalized for cancer and went through a bit of a "manic" steroids phase where I purchased a ton (22, to be exact) realistic stuffed "creatures" (as my mom calls them). I am done buying things (whew!), but I must say that, of the animals I bought, this one may be on top of the list of looks, while being far from the top of the list on cost. He sits proudly in our living room, and we will likely leave him there to guard it, along with his only slightly less impressive lion friend, who is also a Viahart toy. My only complaint is that you are really not supposed to sit on them or they squish quite a bit. My daughter ignores this and that will cut down on their longevity considerably. I would have preferred that they be given stronger backs for a higher price, but others may not agree with that.

Rohit has been renamed to Dabo. After all, this is Clemson territory. He looks much better in person than in the company’s photo. I cannot rate the durability although he seems to be very well made. The tag says for ages three and up. As I am a few years older than three ( 74 years older ), I doubt if Dabo will see much rough handling. He looks very much at home sitting on our jungle rug and waiting for football season o begin.

There is another reviewer here that I am going to pretty much base my review on, as I got this particular plush tiger for one of the exact same reasons she mentioned. Before I go there, I want to say this is a terrific plush, and the price is very reasonable. The quality is amazing and I really don't think I could be happier. The face of the tiger is made of different inner material and should not be handled roughly or anything, as this is what's keeping it's facial shape. Other than that, the rest of the body is plush and very soft, but sturdy. He's got a nice chest and arms and isn't super soft like a regular plush. I find this to be an excellent feature since I can use him as a backrest to lie down on when watching a movie or reading on my bed. I don't need to keep adjusting the body as I would a normal pillow or a very soft plush, if that makes sense; he sits perfectly propped up and I can lay my back and head on him. The tail is on the skinny side, but that is not an issue for me. He's about 5-6 feet long, and I love that since it's very realistic. This brings me to my most important point (and the one I wanted to mention the most, going off of another reviewer). I am a 39-yr old woman, will be 40 in a couple months and I have suffered intense loneliness and back-to-back traumatic life events as a result of several breakups that were 5-7 years long. I also became ill because of the psychological and emotional suffering.I lost my husband 2 years ago, and I have just too much anxiety and stress from everything accumulated over the years. It doesn't matter how much therapy or books I read or meditation I do...nothing can replace a person who you were just about to build a future with and meant the world to you but is now gone forever (or who chose to leave you). Most people have a hard time resonating with me so I am pretty much a loner now because I'm also an introvert. So it's easier to isolate myself than to exhaust myself explaining why I am the way I am to people who aren't going to empathize or understand me anyway. This tiger, whom I renamed "Boris", has been my big, huggable companion for alleviating some of that loneliness and emotional turmoil. He's comforting to me when I go to bed at night, because he's so big and is right next to me under the covers. His lifelike size and sturdiness when I hug him gives me a much better sense of emotional security and comfort. It's been almost impossible for me, as brokenhearted as I am to even fathom the thought of finding another *compatible*, romantic, partner *for life*. Boris helps to alleviate some of this pain of a deep hole in my heart; he's always there for me. I hug him all night long. I frankly don't care if anyone finds this "creepy" or whatever because adults who have gone though traumatic separations and hardships one after another, need comfort too. THANK YOU for making this kind of plush for those of us who need something more life-size, and can help with grief and loneliness in this world. I highly recommend this to anyone, not just kids.

This was a gift for my daughters 5th bday. She adores him! We are both very happy with this purchase. Soft yet sturdy; large and well made & so cuddly and cute. I inquired on shipping and had very prompt responses from owner himself. Felt so confident with this purchase, and was not disappointed. I recognize it is a lot of money for "stuffed animal", but the reaction, quality and happiness is priceless! We love "Rohit" or "Roary" as she calls him. Thank ViaHart!

My son truly loves tigers, and has for many years....he is 30. He always mentions how exciting it would be to interact with them up close; like behind the scenes at a zoo. But, this is as close as I could make that happen. He loves it; is very soft; and looks so realistic! I feared I had ordered it too late to arrive before his birthday, but that was not the case. Arrived days before; I was so happy I did not have to give a 'Sorry it's late; will be here soon' note in his card. It arrived in perfect condition. Thank you so much!
